When I was really tiny, I thought that photographs "stole" the moment in time that they captured, sorta like making it so it never existed, except on film.
-The weather forecasters made the weather
-You could ski on Saturn's rings
-My dog ran away
-Calculators were out to get me (I am NOT kidding on this one)
I thought that the word used for "a particular instance of something" was "pacific". I used this word on homework, essays, and the like for years before being corrected on it.
My family got a playstation in 1995, and it freaked the crap outta me. They were playing wipe out in first person. And I was afraid to play, scared I might get trapped in the game.
I stuck with my Sonic 2 on Genesis for a good few months before I tried the playstation.
When I was a kid, I wanted to be left-handed, so I wrote my name on a piece of paper, and then went and lied to my dad, saying I wrote it with the opposite hand that I actually did.
Turns out, this made him think that I was right-handed, since I actually was left-handed but didn't know which hand was which.
