the fireplace channel

i cant believe that such a channel even exists. its a never ending picture of a burning fireplace that is intermittently broken up by an occasional hand stoking the logs.

it apparently has a loyal following of people and its available during the holidays (even now). its one of those random channels you get when you sign up with rogers, shaw or bell.

has anyone else heard of this or used this channel for a faux fireplace? its oddly soothing to have a picture of a burning fireplace in my living room.

They usually have it on PBS when it is Christmas Day, but other than that, I never heard of one channel that only plays that.

I love that show. Our family would watch it at Christmastime and predict when the hand would come back.

Yeah they play it every year on a chennel here for a few days during christmas.

I bet the casting calls were a nightmare. Such a pivotal role would cause distress among even the greatest of hand actors.
