    Looking at the old boards, I used to be quite the asshole.

    I've been reading through the old boards lately. Well, what's left after the big crash, anyways. I miss the last posts that were made there, they were great.

    Well, after reading a bunch of topics, I was shocked. I was an asshole. a massive, massive asshole. like, to everyone. no one deserved it.

    Why was I made a moderator, exactly? an admin?

    Why did people tell me to take over the site?

    Seriously, I don't get it.

    Don't really understand why I changed. Maybe because I took over the site? I look at the first posts I made here, and well, its a complete 180 compared to how I was where the old boards cut off (april of 2004). It's amazing. and I just want to punch my past self so hard for acting that way.

    I'm sorry I was an ass back then!

    I do not apologize for my current behavior.

    Anyone else ever read through the old stuff? feel awful about it? laugh at your retarded self?

      I sometimes cringe at stuff I posted last year. Or earlier this year.

      The old boards are a pandora's box that I'm afraid to open.

          Eh, most people look back on their former selves and shake their heads. We've all been dumb in the past.

          I don't remember you being all that bad, personally, and I think your takeover of the site was probably the most important thing to ever happen here.

            I used to go to an old forum back in high school. I think I got ill just by reading some of the things I posted there.
            Find a dog, honk it's nose. If you are bothered by this sentence. I guess you're just not cool enough for the noses.

              Yeah. I second that. It won't completely go away either as we get older, seems like. Though hopefully with experience it happens less. We always grow, learn and improve, afterall. Or at least I'd like to think most people do.

                  After reading the debate forum, I can see some things I've improved on. And I feel a bit embarassed at my 16-year old self. Eh... Oh well.

                      It's a give and take, idnit? I feel like my posts were much more thoughtful back then. I'm more flippant now, for better or worse.

                      Also, we're all better as a whole, because we post more pictures in place of text responses.

                        I don't wish to tread back into the past. Back then I was a happy la la otaku everything is cute spam emotes kind of person. I'd like to think I've settled down a bit now. >_>

                              All of my past presents a case that I am a huge dumbass that's always wrong.

                              Maybe when I'm on my deathbed I'll finally be right about something.

                              Or maybe right/wrong is too subjective and its not worth the stress thinking about.





                              I can't wait to find this post in a few years and facepalm, if that's still popular.
