    In over my head...Six Shooter?

Alright. So making games is pretty hard.

I expected this and honestly find it more attractive than intimidating.

However, I do intend to take this into account. Working on We The Brave has gotten progressively more difficult as I finish the parts that I understand. I've built much of the game, but all the parts I have left (besides huge chunks of text) goes into the realm of "things I don't get". I haven't even had RPGM3 for two months, for gawds sakes!

So, although I am by no means scrapping ~40% memory of assets created for We The Brave, and I still going to finish the game, I'm putting it on hold so I can learn this software. And what better way to understand it's capabilities than to make a shorter, more manageable game with it?

    EDIT:My idea changed. Go here:http://www.pavilionboards.com/forum/...118#post522118

Hey...I thought it was you who had said that you do not want to play others' RPGM3 games lest it influence your own ideas too heavily (or something like that), and I'm past needing to self-promote anymore, but if you are able to download my game A Series Aside, I have two text adventures/puzzles in there (among many other things) that you might wanna check out if you need some ideas.

ASA is on my play-list, but as of now I'm still working out how I'm going to play the games of others. So I will play it, but probably not until after Six-Shooter is released.

          Major idea revamp.

I realized that only two of the six games I had planned were actually going to be fun to play. I want to explore these two ideas much further, and as such will simply cut the other four.

Good plan. I've had several ideas in the past, myself, that sounded interesting on paper but not really fun in practice. Though one idea managed to survive as a mini-game.

I think if you can pull off Spore War and Ascent, you'll be set for any type of scripting you'd want to do in something more epic. The only thing you'll really still need, besides inspiration, is an idea of unusual ways to work with Event Commands. And those are all over the Workshop, but a lot of them can be found in The Tips & Tricks Thread.
