RPG Maker -

• 1ce's Unnamed Platformer - 1ce posted some screenshots of the game, and some more info.
• Super Pavilion Bash - Chrysalon is planning a game that is "kinda like a Super Smash Brothers RPG".
• Acre-Age - Ixzion posted some screenshots.
• Veil of Corruption - Lausen continues to make updates, including info about the main character.
• Orius' Game - I dont know if it has a title. He posted an equipment list.
• Survival 2 - MRevelle83 posted a poll asking about the battle system he should use for the game.

General -

• Everyone is starting a blog these days. In addition to the current Grump Factory, we now have gaming blogs from Loki and Marcus.
• Highwind's comedy site/youtube channel got it's 200th subscriber.
• Denmo's FFX comic is still great.
• Chrono made the new graphic you see above, a new color-matching logo, and other stuff that'll be thrown at the site later this week.

Sorry for being late. I'm still playing around with the format of the new community news updates, along with how I'll be updating from now on in general. I decided to start adding "creative stuff" going on in other parts of the forum as well.

For those wondering how stuff is going to be done from now on:

Community News - Posted every friday (most of the time). Recaps the week's RPG Maker activity, and possibly other creative ventures in the forum if this style is recieved well. Later today, contest updates will start being posted with these. Yeah, I'll be editing in stuff for the ULC contest and Horrors of Fanfiction contest later today. For some stupid reason, I just noticed today that the fanfiction contest ends on halloween. That's great.

Website Updates - Happens on wednesdays, when it happens. When new content is added to the site, one of these will be made. You know, for games.

Announcements - Can happen whenever. These arent scheduled. If there's breaking news, a new contest, or something else I think needs front page attention, I'll make one of these posts.

I don't even know if my game has a title.

I was going with "Redemption" as a working title, but I'm not sure I want to stick with that. I've dropped it only to pick it up again. It's not exactly what I want, but I haven't been able to think of anything better -- and short enough to fit on the game's title screen.

Well I think It looks fantastic, and the changes have already proven effective. I also think there's been a big increase in activity on the RM boards. Is that just me?

...And then you added 'general' news. Wow. So simple, yet nobody had thought of it before. I think it's a great idea!

I really like the new look of the front page. It makes things much easier to differentiate, and, therefore, it is much more user-friendly.
