    "Darkseer" synopsis

Almost 600 years ago Merihim, the lord of the demonic world, made a contract with the three kings of the human realm. The contract, protected the humans from invasion for 600 years, but granted the demonic access to the human world. For the last 100 years, demons have been making there way into the human world through small rifts in the walls between the two worlds. These rifts are invisible to humans, as are the demons that enter. The human world is now filled with unseen monsters terrorizing humans, but there is a prophecy, that tells of a person that has the ability to see the unseen, The Darkseer. The Darkseer is said to have the power to not only see demons but the strength to kill them, and even enter their world.

In the game “Darkseer” you play as a young man who discovers he has powers. He tries to hide his gift, fearing it will be misunderstood. He soon finds himself mixed up in a war he doesn’t want to fight; little does he know he is the only one that can save a world that fears him.

There are clitches with the whole prophecy thing, but nowdays what isn't a clitche? It's all about how you present it. This story has promise, but you haven't really said what the game will be like. Who will we be playing as? What kind of things will we be doing in the game? What are some of the features you plan to add? Will DarkSeer focus on battles, character development, puzzles, etc... Those are the kind of things that I'm curious about. What about it makes it stand out? We can't gather that much info from a simple synopsis like this. We need a bit more info to draw us in so we get excited to follow DarkSeer's progress.

I look forward to hearing more about what you have planned for the game.

Likewise. I'm curious to learn more. Which maker is this for?

It doesn't sound that bad except for the prophecy part. Like Lausen said it's a pretty big cliche. Does there really need to be a prophecy? You could find other ways to get the character to discover what he must do that are more creative.

Thanks for the advice guys, your right about the prophecy. When I get more work done I will post a more in depth synopsis, the game is still in the early stages. I’m really thrilled that you all are helping me; it makes RPGM so much more enjoyable. Give me a few days I will post a new one.

          1ce it’s for RPGM3

I can imagine seeing this game for the 360 as Tri-Ace's new and upcoming RPG. Seriously. But I agree with the others, you should post more details soon, and not leave us hanging on such a cool synopsis!
