You know, birthdays aren't all that special. Everyone has a birthday. You are not an unique and individual snowflake.

4 years ago today, Ryner complained about there being too many birthday topics. He may not have posted about it, but he no doubt complained.

Ryner has seemingly become less bitter over the years about birthday topics. Perhaps he is a changed man. Perhaps he's just come to accept that his fight against wishing people "happy birthday" is not winnable. My complaints didn't really pick up until there were a bunch of topics celebrating birthdays for people who didn't matter, i.e. person who made 1 post and hadn't been back in three months.
