    google. damn.

    The Intellivoice was probably the most exciting add-on for the Intellivision. It was the first video game system that had actual voice in it! Mattel then started making games that were enhanced with voice by using this synthesis unit like TRON Solar Sailer, Bomb Squad, Space Spartans, & my favorite... B-17 Bomber.

    The Intellivoice is not rare per say, but is an intrical part of any & all Intellivision collections. The system (#3330) originally came boxed with instructions

          I still have the unit my parents got when I was a kid. Still have it in the box, with the manual and even the bubble wrap. I'm not really sure how much it's worth, but it couldn't have been all that rare, because I remember my parents got the Intellivision for Christmas '83. That was right around the time of the big crash, and they got the Intellivoice probably sometime in 1984, which means there were probably a lot of them selling for relatively cheap.

          I remember thinking how cool this thing was when I was a kid with the voices and everything. These days it does seem pretty primitive with VA being nearly standard in games. I haven't used it in a long time though, because the console doesn't work very well, and three of the games for the Intellivoice were released on the Intellivision Lives! collection for the PS2 which I have.

              I guarantee that I found the answer to his question in less than 1/20th of the time it took him to make a topic about it, and in less than 1/70000th of the time that it took him to get an answer to his question.

                    The purpose of asking questions on a forum is to get other people's opinions.

                    When you need facts, it's much easier to google it.

                    Forum : opinions

                    Google : facts

                    Forum -----> Opinions

                    Google -----> Facts

                    Forum != Facts

                    Google != Opinions (unless you're searching for FORUMS)

                    There. Everyone happy.

                      God forbid we have real conversations with each other when the computer could do it for us.

                          Fixed.

                          Here's his question:
                          How much would i get for it
                          He didn't make a discussion topic, he asked a price question.

                          Honestly, I doubt anyone here could tell him what it's really worth without looking it up or checking auction sites, which is something he could've done himself.

                              Find a dog, honk it's nose. If you are bothered by this sentence. I guess you're just not cool enough for the noses.
