    You wrestling fans

Yeah, all three of you. I have a question. Anyone ever watch a WWE live webcast for a pay-per-view, or know anything about them? I havn't watched wrestling in years, but I'm thinking about ordering the ECW show for the sake of happy memories. Due to the lack of legality of my familys current cable hookup, and because our not-so-hot box doesn't get the ppv channels anymore, my only option for watching it is the webcast. But I'd like to know how the quality of the video is and how good the whole thing works before I plunk down my hard-earned moneys. Anyone have some info?

I've personally never bought a webcast, but if I had the money, you know I would watch that ECW pay-per-view. That one's the first PPV I've gotten excited about since... the last ECW PPV.

Stone Cold ruined it? What happened?

Well the story line was that all these WWE guys came and sat in skybox taunting the ECW goers while they were all in their matches. It ended with them saying **** as Sandman demanded beer (you know, doing the gimmick he's been doing BEFORE Stone Cold took it and made it famous), and Austin comes out, calling out the WWE guys, acting like he is the freaking spokesperson of ECW.

Well, no ****ing way, Austin sucks, he is NOT the voice of ECW, and the fact that they pushed it that way made the whole event suffer.

Mike Awesome vs. Masato Tanaka was excellent, classic ECW. But yeah, I hated the ending too.

Man, Tanaka just kept getting up it was a trip, allright!

Paul Heyman's shoot on WWE was amazing, too! "Cover your wives, it's Edge!"

DAMN!!!!! Wish I had seen it just for Tanaka vs. Awesome. All of their matches have been classic. I still have the one where Tanaka powerbombs Awesome out of the ring and through a table. That looked painful, to say the least.

Was Taz in a match? Please say yes, and please say he kicked ass.

And Mikey Whipwreck? Was he there??? Nova?(Oh wait, he's 'Simon what's-his-face'... ) And did Tajiri kick ass as well?(Tajiri was always my favorite)

God, I miss the good old days.

Damn you WWE, for throwing Austin in there. GRR!

Also, did Joey Styles and Joel Gertner commentate? They were the best commentary duo, EVER. In the history of commentating.

                      Styles and Foley were commentators.

Nova was there, and Styles let the cat out of the bag, stating he was Simon Dean and then joking that he was going to get fired for that after. Taz was not in a match, but he was present during the big WWE vs. ECW brawl in the end.

Joel Gertner provided some great comic relief, I was waiting for him to show up during the final Bischoff segment but he never did

Mikey Whipwreck came to the ring with Tajiri and Sinister Minster, and he hit Little Guido with the Whippersnapper off the top rope. Super Crazy stole the match though (Was a 3-way dance), not only winning but taking out the entire FBI by moonsauting off a balcony.

Awesome powerbombed Tanaka off the ring apron through a table on the outside of the ring. Then hit Tanaka about a minute later with a very impressive splash from the top rope. Later, he hits Tanaka with two chairshots, Tanaka stays on his feet, gets hit a third time, falls, but gets right back up. Awesome went to powerbomb Tanaka through another table off the top rope, but Tanaka reversed it into a tornado DDT through the table. But a few moments after that Tanaka gets powerbombed off the top rop anyway onto the broken table. The match ended when Awesome powerbombed Tanaka from the ring through another table outside the ring, then he slingshots over the top rope and lands on top of Tanaka. It was really cool, the camera was closeup on Tanaka laying on the floor, and then BAM, Awesome comes out of nowhere landing on top of him.

The main event was really something too. Tommy Dreamer and the Sandman vs. The Dudley Boys. The match had the BWO, Justin Credible, Lance Storm, Francine, Beulah, Spike Dudley, and a flaming table all making cameos.

The quality of the webcasts aren't that bad, plus you get extra matches with them.

I think all that Mike Awesome knew how to do in that match was powerbomb. Jeez. The matches were entertaining and they had some cool wrestlers though.

Stone Cold is cool though. He might not be the voice of ECW, but he's well known throughout the wrestling biz. It was afterall WWE that endorsed the event, signed on the wrestlers and such, so you can't blame em for wanting to add a little touch to it.
