Last I checked I couldn't take Morrowind seriously.

I think the whole "~" panel thing ruined it for me.

Writing about seven in-game days is a much more time consuming process than I expected! I'll most likely finish the journal entry tomorrow, and will send Smarticus the save in the morning.

OK, me and Caciss were discussing and 7 in-game days is way too long to play/write about.

So for Smarticus's turn and for everyone following it's gonna be 4 in-game days. That way turns'll go quicker and it won't be so hard to write about.

Don't worry, Morrowind time doesn't pass by as fast as Oblivion's, and with enough potions/speed you can really pack in a lot of content into 4 days if you choose to do so.

I'm at work right now, but my journal entry is nearly complete. I sent the Smarticus the save, so he can begin his turn right now if he wants. Journal will likely be posted tonight or tomorrow morning.

I tried to take screenshots as a test before starting my turn, but I keep getting the message that I have to change the .ini file even though I've already done so.

Apparently with Vista you have to install stuff outside of Program Files if you're going to edit any of the files. So I moved Morrowind to it's own folder and the screenshots now work fine. Once I get the save from Smarticus I'll get to work.

I just had an odd experience in my playthrough. If I was playing this alone I probably would have just reloaded, but in the interest of keeping our game legit I'll just work around it. Either way I lost a day of gametime...

You did very well Ryner, I liked the character you developed. Denial is far easier to handle than realizing your a psychopath :)

I also liked how you changed the writing style and even his behavior as the pain of the headache worsened. It was a nice touch.

I think I'm starting to remember some of the "threats" you made when this project started. Something about drinking for four days straight, If I recall correctly.

That is one of the things I really don't like about Morrowind, it is easily the most unstable game I have ever played.

I installed a super-duper code-patch recently and it fixes TONS of bugs in the game.

Ok, wow. This seems like a nifty idea. I have the game and the expansion packs. I'd have to uncheck some of my mods, but that's no big deal. I already have some of the acceptable mods (better bodies, better heads, better books, etc...).

I've just glimpsed at the story so far, read a little. Let me catch up and see if I think I can add to this. Are you still accepting new people?

Having problems. Restored my computer a couple of months ago, and now the game keeps crashing. Trying to work it out. Seems to be a problem with the #$!@ intel video chip. Before the restore the game would only crash every now and then. Now it crashes every single, flamming time.

Did you get the patch? That reduces ctds by a huge amount.

I did. I updated with all the official patches, and the patch listed in the other post on this forum. I get a fatal error caused by the intel video chip. I have a cheap computer, I'm poor. Annnyywaay, it used to play fine, only crashing out of the game every once in a while. But I had to restore a few months ago. I re-patched the game and all, but now it crashes every time I play. I'm still trying to work it out.

All I can think of is to make sure you have all of your updates (hardware and such business). Good luck, and I hope to see what you are able to do soon.

I don't know the problem, but I can't fix it. I've tried. I'm really sorry, but I'm gonna have to let you down for now. There may be a possibility of a new computer in my not too distant future, I'll have to check back then. I'm really sorry.
