    Pavilion Leaderboard

I think it would be interesting to have a leaderboard thread where we could list the Pavilion's top players. Not "top players" as in the coolest members, mind (all the positions would be monopolized by Ryner), rather the top players of certain games. Highest score, best time, whatever can be leaderboarded, regardless of whether the game itself has a leaderboard.

    What do you all think?

How would this work and how would it be verified?

      Re: Pavilion Leaderboard

      Let's see.

We could have a list of games in alphabetical order, similar to the names in the username thread, each with their own hierarchy of leaderboards (i.e. game modes with different ranking criteria). Members could propose games to add to the thread. If enough people are interested, and if verification of the achievements' authenticity is viable enough (through online leaderboards, offline rankings, etc.) it can be added. Like the username thread, it can be updated to reflect changes.

That's one way of doing it.

We should also add gamerscores to this.

Actually that might be deserving of it's own thread.

Mind if I make it RPGD?

I was going make it myself, but I want to know what everyone else thinks first.

Also we need to figure out how to manage it efficiently, and decide on viable achievement verification methods for non-leaderboarded games that shouldn't involve taking photos of screens.

We can just have the forum codes from mygamercard.net and stack 'em. That way the gamerscores are always up to date, and we can always edit the place and position of the codes as the gamerscores change.

              Edit: For example...

                This could be interesting.

A while back, I played Geometry Wars, a game I hadn't touched in six months, simply because Magus beat my top score. So I can see how this would be fun.

I'll post my Trophies, when the PS3 has games that have them.

But picture proof sure would be nice.
