that's a terrible life cycle for such a popular system.

If this IS true, and developers are finding out about it now, they're likely going to slack off on current Wii development and wait for the one with "real next gen visuals".

PS4 isnt coming that soon. Sony is looking into their next system now, just like nintendo is, and microsoft is. they NEVER stop thinking about the future. PS3 has a 10 year life cycle planned.

Because as we saw with the 600 dollar PS3, the tech wasnt that affordable to consumers at the time.

Really. I don't want anymore game systems. I just got 'em all. They have, like, five games each on 'em (1 for PS3). Isn't there a LOT more they can squeeze out of the current tech? The DS has been going on for HOW long now with no sign of stopping?

What about DLC? Are you going to be able to play MM9 on the new Wii? What about Castle Crashers and Geometry Wars on the new Xbox?
