I finally purchased some earbuds. They are a par of Sennheiser CX 300s. They sound great-- they block out almost all of the noise around you, the treble is good, and the detail is sharp. The only downside is the bass is pretty boomy, especially when listening to music with a good amount bass. Other than that, these are a good pair of earbuds. They cost me $80 (a bit more than I would've like to have spent), and I purchased these at Circuit City.

I think it's a waste to spend more than $25 on earbuds.Ryner's Games

Re: I have done the deed! (No, not that deed.)
Yeah...I can't stand earbuds myself....I'm with orius on this one. They are uncomfortable, and always fall out. I did recently buy a $130 pair of Sennheiser noise cancelling headphones from my work a few weeks ago when they were on sale for half off ($65). I had bought a pair of Sony noise cancelling headphones a few weeks before, and had not opened them, so I ended up returning them. The ONLY problem I have with them (the Sennheisers) is if I'm in a quiet-ish area, and I turn on the noise cancelling, it bumps up the volume (which is fine), but also begins to give me a headache after a short period of time. In the instructions, it DOES state that people with sensitive ears might feel some discomfort with the noise cancelling turned on. But if I'm riding the bus or something where it's noisy already, the noise cancelling does not bother me.Last edited by Perversion; 06-29-2008, 05:54 AM.
