Only our (p)resident is not a hick, but puts on the appearance of one to appear as a hick to other hicks. He's really a rich Connecticut Yale boy whose daddy twisted a few arms to get him into college and eventually into the Texas National Gaurd to evade going to Vietnam, of which he technically went AWOL from the Texas National Guard, only to have a few arms twisted around so he wouldn't be disciplines for it and the records sealed from the public.
But ticket the chicken he would. Would I have been that redneck cop? I'd be more likely to chop it in the neck with an axe, pluck and gut it, clean it, and fry it up if it weren't someone else's pet.

It's not like the cop physically gave a ticket to the chicken. He ticketed the owners because there's a law against livestock being in the street; but the ticket was dismissed because chickens aren't considered livestock. That's probably the crappiest news story I've ever seen.Comment
