Make so that after submitting a post you're not taken to that post automatically? I dont like having to always scroll up and click whatever forum I want to go to.

its something we'd have to change for everyone. personally, I like going back to the thread to re-read and make sure I dont sound stupid.

Yes, it's always good to make sure you don't sound stupid. As for your problem, could you not simply open each topic you read in a new window and close it after you reply, thus saving your place at the forum main?

Or heck, how about I just reset my computer after every post so I dont even have to use the mouse!

I side with Valk on this issue.

Same here. If I don't want to re-read my post, I just hit the home key or page up.

It's not that hard to click where I want to go. Develop it as a habit.

Although, it would be nice if the page didn't automatically scroll down to the bottom-most post when entering a topic. It has a tendancy of doing that when I try looking elsewhere on the page.

Perhaps it could your browser? I have mozilla and no such problem.

I'm using mozilla and I have the problem,
personally though, I see it as a plus rather than an annoyance, but that's just me :)

If you try to scroll up or down the page before it's done loading your reply, once it is done, it will zap you back to your post.

Now that's just diabolical.

That it does. That irritates me.
