    stop supporting iTunes

Alright, time for me to get on my soapbox.

Why do people keep buying from iTunes? I'm sure the thinking is "oh, I already have an iPod so what the hell" but you can get music cheaper and DRM free at other stores! I use Amazon MP3 myself (they also don't shove their software down your throat), and I can use those mp3s for whatever I want...Audiosurf, putting them on my 360 while I'm playing games, put it on my PSP, put it on my cheap ass Sansa, etc. I'm sick of Apple's "you have to play these on an Apple product" mentality.

They won't change until we make them, and since they're the #1 seller of ALL music (more than even Wal-Mart), they're not going to have to change.

... Does it matter? If you've got a nice alternative, why bother with ranting about iTunes.

I've personally never purchased an mp3. I buy the real thing, yo.

    Or get it from Mora.

I've already started. In fact, I've been boycotting their store since it was invented, seeing as how I also thought it was stupid.

Besides, it's MUCH easier to get CDs from your local library.

Yeah, cause every local library is as well-stocked as yours. Plus, most people here listen to crap you'll never find at a library. Like, ever.

Just stating my easy fix. Surprisingly, my library is a treasure trove of CDs. They have some vinyl as well, if I remember correctly.

You can still buy music for iTunes. Last I checked their music wasn't exclusive.

It'll only play on Apple devices, though.

I think though if you burn the song onto a CD then import it a different way you can rid yourself of that hassle. But it's still a pain.

yes, and you can only copy the file or transfer it 3 times, i believe.
