I just finished watching Elfen lied and the last 4 episodes made me almost cry and im just wondering if this has happened to anyone else?

Grave of the Fireflies makes my insides flood in irreparable sadness like no other film can, animated or not. If I started watching that film while already in a miserable state of affairs, I'd surely waste away into nothingness by the end.

Also, the end of the final OVA's for Rurouni Kenshin tore me up pretty well. Probably because I had watched almost the entire series, so I guess by then I discovered that I was more connected to Kenshin as a character than I had initially realised, and it was consequently sad to see it all come to an end. That and the fact that it was a very bittersweet ending in itself anyway.

one time i was watching this episode of dbz and like gohon was fighting sell and it was like noone could beat cell but then gokoo who was suppose to be dead came like a goest and standed next to gohan and was like WE CAN DO THIS TOGETHER and they like did the COMMIEHOMMYHAAA together and they blasted sell and he was like NOOOOOO but he wasnt really dead they had to fight him some more later but at that part i was crying because goukou and goehan loved eachother so much

Elfen Lied didn't make me cry, but I really did enjoy the ending, and how everything was finally pieced together:

I finally got to see the other side of Lucy, how she was constantly ridiculed, and it was the cruelty of humans and the murder of her dog that brought out her powers. It was also the traumatic murders Lucy did to Koata's sister and father which lead to his temporary amnesia. Still...it was a wonderful ending, and I'm currently reading the manga. Only 20 chapters left before I'm finished.

Faye's place in the last few episodes of Cowboy Bebop got me misty-eyed.

FMA got me right there in the middle.
