My brother doubts PETA, and I've since tried to confirm this... account. There's several sites that have similar sentiments, but I have doubts about that video. They said that Chinese fur farms don't let visitors in, but this video was somehow filmed. Either they snuck in, or it was staged. I'd rather this was fake then real, though. But if animals were killed for this... propaganda....

PETA does lie, no doubt about it. they've been caught faking "behind the scenes" videos of their targets. They also go around to shelters, adopt animals, and kill them in what people call their "better dead than fed" program.

But the way fur is taken from animals IS brutal. the animals are skinned alive, and often just thrown in a pile where they bleed to death. if you buy anything made from fur, you are a terrible person for supporting that horrible industry.

China has no animal rights laws, making things much worse.

I daydreamed about doing that. I was so ****** off, I thought about a scenario where I go to one of the brutal ones, kill everyone inside, and mutilate the bodies. Or, if they made the mistake of skinning in the open, snipe them from a hill.

That's part of the way I calm down. I feel odd watching Star Trek after seeing this.

I kinda wonder what would happen if aliens came and saw this.

Why wouldn't I? If they really did this, I'd see no reason for mercy. Maybe toned down a little, since they were doing their jobs. But I'd give them a good scare. I'd maybe ask them a few things, find out what they were thinking when their victims twitched. If they really were "only doing their jobs," I'd let them off. Maybe. And the others....

It's only natural. People's immediate reaction to inhumanity and injustice is usually to be equally cruel but somehow convince themselves it becomes just if you inflict it on the people who did it before.
