this place reminds me of the matrix lobby scene or the old intermission theme song from the drive in. either way read the rules, introduce yourself, and learn how to be a valued member of this community!

welcome and enjoy the show!

edit: ok, wasnt sure what you where going to do.

and now for something completely different!

1950's classic intermission song: "lets all go to the lobby"

Welcome to the Pavilion Athene! You could have made your own topic here. :)

Congrats on being the first new member to use the newly established Lobby!

Don't just confine yourself to the RPG Maker forums, theres a whole other world outside those forums and plenty more people to meet.

Don't hesitate to ask questions, many of us jumps at the chance to answer them(which you saw last night)

Perhaps it would help to put the Rules topic in this forum as well?

Welcome to the Pav, Athene. I'll tell you one thing, RPGM3 can be confusing at first, but if you hang around the RPGM3 workshop for a bit, you'll get the hang of it. JPS is one of the best with the software, so I'm sure he won't mind helping you out. If you got any questions, just give anyone of us a holler!

Thanks for the welcome everyone. I actually checked around with the search engine before even joining the pavilion, and that's why I ended up joining.

He's good at making computer programs, and plugging RPGM3 stuff into it, I'll give him that.

Yep, I'm developing one right now based on my novels and my current pen and paper role playing campaign. It's set after the adventures of my current player and involves the quest for the sword she created in our story. So you are someone coming in long afterwards, discovering clues about what happened before and fighting some bosses that messed with the people after she left. I would have done more... only RPG maker can't render my world properly because it doesn't have dragons etc that you can have as regular NPCs.

It's still a thrill to run around and go "yep, that's Summersprite, and yep, that kinda looks like Merisia." When I get another memory card I will do an adventure on the World of Arrakhal. I don't have an external drive yet for my PS2 though.

Stop being jealous :lol, I can't help it if everyone thinks I'm good at it.

Its not a computer program, its an excel sheet, and I would have made a standalone comp program if Vista supported VB6, and I'm pretty sure I'm the only one who has came up with an answer to "How do I make my stats so the monsters arent too strong/weak" thats doesn't have "playtest" anywhere in the answer and is nearly 100% efficient.

Not to mention the countless contributions and help I've given in the RM3 area, if you look at every topic in RM3, Ive given close to 100% of them a reply, a lot with examples.

So as far as being good with RM3, I think I am pretty good at the software, I'm not saying I'm the best, you and Page does support the software and your answers are at times better quality then mine, but I don't choose which topic I'll post in, I consider it my obligation as a member who contribute many resources that I should answer every question asked, and if I dont know the answer, I'll figure it out.

Don't mean to go off topic like this, but with all the contributions I've made to the series I feel I should defend my hard work and dedication when someone comes up and says "He's good at making computer programs, and plugging RPGM3 stuff into it", because I've done a LOT more then just that.

Not trying to step on toes, or make you mad Perv, but come on, give me more credit then just that.:(
