    Ugh, Oblivion

OK, so I go through the Dark Brotherhood all the way up to the purification, right? I get those poisoned apples for the sake of creativity. My dumb ass eats one of them accidentally.

Then my dumb ass leaves the area, autosaving me with the poisoned apple effect still going on. My last save before that was 7 hours ago.

So I figure, which is worse? Healing myself till it wears off or losing my entire Dark Brotherhood playthrough. So I go for the healing and the potion making.

**** was that tough. I had to scrounge around Cheydinhal for potion ingredients and buy out all the stores for healing and magic potions. Eventually, after several retries, I get enough and ration them out to where I last all the way through the Poisoned Apple's dial.

    So the dial runs out.

    But it doesn't go away.

And I run out of potions and die.

    Hurray for dumb me.
    ...and that's why.

    I'm a vampire.

I'm at the beginning of the damn game, like level 2. and I'm a vampire.

I'm wondering why you go seven hours between saves.

I couldn't get into Oblivion, even though I didn't really try.

        Go me.

Den, you have no idea how many times that's happened to me.

"Alright, just drop this here for them to eat."

          "GOD DAMNIT NOOOOO"

          *several minutes of failed attempts*

You can't outlast that ****ing apple. I have restoration of 101 and plenty of healing potions and magicka stuff, it can't be done.

Finding the cure had to have been the longest ******* quest in the whole game. I hated being a vampire. Sunlight hurts.

Vampirism and the Dark Brotherhood tend to go hand in hand, though.

I almost became a vampire during the Azura Shrine quest. I cured it, because, to be blunt, my guy looked freaky. He's an Argonian, so the change was quite radical. You know how Argonian's eyes are red with black slits? When you became a vampire they turn into pink, human eyes.

on the bright side, you get to redo the best quest in the game, the one where you basically are the Clue killer.

I love the Dark Brotherhood quests! I'd love to do the Faelian one over and over again. He's freaking hilarious.

I was actually super sad when I had to do the Purification. I really liked those guys. I don't remember where I left off after that, but I definitely haven't finished the line.

The DB quests kind of fall apart after the Purification, they just lose their flair.

I need to play this game for more than 4 hours total time.

Also, DK, how is it even possible for you to become a vampire at level two? Don't you generally have your first level-up soon after leaving the sewers in the "tutorial?" Is there even a vampire den anywhere NEAR there?

Yeah, but the ending makes it worth it IMO. I mean, theres a reason all of the quests become boring.
And perversion, quite a few dungeons have random vampires so if he disregarded faction and went into a dungeon right away (and subsequently got and forgot to cure the disease) it's possible.

I just can't bring myself to kill anybody, so I won't be doing the Dark Brotherhood. I'm too much of a goody-goody. Hell, I can't even bring myself to join the thieves guild.

I've been infected with the vampire disease a couple of times, but I've always managed to cure it in time.
