Last night on G4, it was said that Blizzard is now hiring people to work on an MMORPG project, and it ISN'T A WOW expansion.

The only other Blizzard MMO I would play would be Galaxy of Starcraft, or whatever the hell they would wanna call it. It's never going to happen, I mean, they're still working on 2, there's not near enough source material to make a full, living world out of. I think a Diablo MMO would be folly, I mean, Diablo II online was addictive enough! LOL.

But seriously, you guys have the most popular game in the world, and it shows no signs of slowing down. WORK ON THAT.

*shrugs* I dunno. Normal MMO stuff, I guess, expansions, server stability, customer service. Just saying if you've got something good, run with it.

They might be doing the smart thing and developing the successor to WoW now so they can get it out the gate immediately when WoW dies (if ever).

Isn't Blizzard always working on WoW stuff anyways? I mean, do you feel that the game is lacking in some vital (or non-vital) regard?

Well, you don't pump an MMO out in two years. MMOs take a lot of time and a lot of money to make. Probably just starting the very beginning phases of production of their next MMO, so in some 5 years they can release that, when I imagine WoW will be on the decline. Well, I think it's probably a new franchise, or maybe just WoW2. I can't imagine Diablo as an MMORPG.
