cross-platform play should be a goddamn standard. everyone plays everything on the 360, and rarely on the PS3.

I just thought Valk's logic was weird. He said everyone plays on the 360, but he plays PS3, so there should be cross-platform gaming. But if everyone just plays on the 360, then why do we need cross-platform? Just for Valk? If I'm a game designer, and I know that only 1% of my online gamers are going to be on the PS3, I'm sure not going to go through the trouble of desgining my game to be cross-platform just so that measly 1% can play with the 99% on the more popular system.
