Stranglehold is freaking awesome

The demo is on XBL, and it's sick. Gotta be the most fun I've had with a demo since I bought the system. I almost peed myself when I slid down a railing, shot bad guys on the way down, and then dove straight onto a cart which rolled down the alley as I killed more baddies. If the one level you get to play is any indication, this is going to be the best action-shooter to come out in years.

Is it anything like Jet Li: Rise to Honor? Because that tried to do a similar action movie feel and sucked horribly.

actually, I meant the budget it took to make it. If Midway doesn't have a hit, then they're bigtime FOOKED. I work with people who know people that worked on it.

I think they're fun and awesome. Have you not seen The Killer or Hardboiled?

I too tried the demo. Ryner tried to talk to me during it but I was all ***** I'M PLAYIN.'

I thought it was pretty cool. It's got the John Woo style down pat but the enemy AI's still fairly dumb, the kill animations get repetitve, the graphics aren't all that great - people range from passable to buck fugly - and it just feels like Max Payne 3.

Otherwise, it is a lot of fun to shoot guys in slow-mo and the standoffs and special moves like ZOOMING IN REAL FAST WITH JEDI ELF SIGHT or whatever, they were a nice surprise.

Is it gonna be worth the $60? Eh.

Ehhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Will all copies come with Hardboiled?
