CHATROOM FAQ, BY KINGSPOOM:
Registering
Log in with your pavilion name. You will need to register your name after you log in so nobody else can use it. Down near the bottom there is a drop-down menu with panels on in (the command drop down). Within the nickserv panel there is a button called register. While logged in, supply an email address and password. That's it, your are registered. Every time you log in you will have to identify yourself by typing your password, either in the box that pops up, or by clicking the identify button in the same panel as register, and typing in your password.
Actions
Actions can be preformed by typing /me before you type, so instead of saying *runs around the room screaming* you can type /me runs around the room screaming, and it will be displayed as Billy runs around the room screaming. The text will be colored red, and it will drop the <>'s to make it look better.
Sounds
Custom actions can be run with sound. If you wanted to make the car crashing sound while saying that you wrecked your car earlier today, simply type /sound crash wrecked my car earlier today. The first word will not appear, as that is the parameter for the sound command. The text will be in cyan and it will also be missing the <>'s like the /me command. If you miss-type the name of the sound, no sound should occur. The sound names are available on a drop-down menu near the bottom. 2 of those are listed incorrectly... For the sound effect bang, you must type explosion, and for the sound effect attention, you must type whistle.
Typing
Repeating what you last type is easy, simple have the text input box selected (blinking cursor inside) and hit the up arrow. You can go back pretty far... to far for me to bother to count.
Avatars & Images
In the commands drop-down menu there is an avatar panel. Picking an avatar will put the icon before your name on the username list and when you talk. There is also an image panel that you can use to put images between your words as you type. Just single click the image and it will put the coding in your text to display the image. For the moment, you are unable to type it in manually.
Private Messaging
If you want to private message someone, you can double-click on their username in the username list, or type /query username. If you type /msg username message, you can send a private message without opening up a box for you. The guy receiving the message will get a box, and yours will open if he replies.
Nicknames
If for some reason you need to change your username, type /nick newname. Your name will change to the newname that you type, and you will have to identify yourself if that name is registered. I encourage people to change their nicknames if they will be away for extended periods of time, if you wanted to leave the chatroom open while you sleep for example.
More Options
By clicking the small text on the bottom-right corner of the client, you can edit extra options that will take effect the next time you come in, such as adding/removing timestamps, enabling/disabling sound, etc.

A room operator, sometimes called a 'moderator' or 'op', is someone who has the power to kick/ban users, voice users, change the room topic, and set room modes. Ops are signified by an @ symbol before their name. Voice is what a room op can give a user so that the user can always talk, even if the room is mode +m (strictly moderated). It usually shows up as a + next to the user's nick. An SOp is a Supreme/Super Op, a type of room op who has the power to permanently give or take room op or voice in a room in addition to anything a normal operator can do. This is also shown with the @ symbol.
The super op (RPGPprogrammer) can set permanent ops and voice so that you will be opped when you enter the room. Temporary ops can be set, and although temporary ops have the ability to take away anyone's ops, if you are on the permanent op list, you can either rejoin the chat to get your powers back, or use the drop-down menu and select op me. That will restore your op status. Ops not on the permanent list do not have that luxury.
Enjoy.
