Re: How does the rep system work?
When you log in, there is a green light under your username whenever you post something. Right next to that green light is an icon of a justice scale (I think that's what they are called in real life).
During your time here, you will be reading a lot of posts from people. You may agree with what is said, or you may not. You give positive rep if you like what was said, or give negative rep if you don't like what is said. Whenever you see a post from someone, press the justice scale icon on their post and decide whether or not you want to boost their points. Point mileage varies according to how long you've been here--like say, for example, Superhappyfuncow's been here for a long time so he can give out four or five points. Asch the Bloody is a new guy, so he can only give out one point. I've been here for about two years, so I give out two or three.
For every 100 points received, you'll get a Gobli. See the Gobli statues under my screen name there? Every Red Gobli is worth 100 points. Every Gold Gobli is worth 200 points. I have about over 900 points so far.Last edited by Misty; 07-25-2007, 02:13 PM.

Re: How does the rep system work?
Some people like Misty and John Mora get extra rep because they're female. It's the way losers like Superhappyfuncow try to get dates.
Edit: Yeah, that's right. I made fun of Mora AND IRC in the same post. My treachery does not know bounds.Last edited by Ryner; 07-25-2007, 02:28 PM.Ryner's Games

Re: How does the rep system work?
Rep levels. each message is for a certain value. I don't think they're for anything except to make people laugh. Most of them, if not all were submitted by people here. The Cyclops having only one eye, needed to seek shelter from the harsh sun. The shadow cast by the spheres gave him temporary respite.
