    Father's Day 2007

You know it's this Sunday, folks. I think that we put so much emphasis on the mom (because she "created" us) that we put the father on the backburner. Damn it, he's important, too! :P So... what are you planning to get them?

As for me, I gave my dad a fresh extra large pizza from my job and some money last night.

My Dad called me last night and was all "Pssst... where's my gift? It's late!" and I was like "Um, Father's Day isn't till next Sunday, Dad." He was just trying to mess with me, but he failed.

He lives really far away and doesn't really need any presents, so I got him a musical card. It says "Finally, the one day when you can tell em all..." then you open it up and it has a picture of a remote control and the card plays "U Can't Touch This".

It sounds lame, but I laughed really hard and it's pretty accurate because he lives in the house with three females who oppose his use of the TV to watch sports.
"They shouldn’t have called it Earth, they should have just called it the wipe-your-own-butt planet."

Shut up! Our fathers were our models for God. If our fathers bailed, what does that tell you about God?

      ...lawl j/k/

We got him a card and some James Bond DVDs. \:3

Magus. You are a great son to your father.

I don't know what to get my Dad. Maybe some 24 DVDs??

I'd rush out there and check Best Buy and/or Target. Last I checked they were selling the 24 sets for $20 each. That's a grand steal.

We were gonna get Seasons 2 and 3 (we already have 1) but we already saw them on Netflix and I dunno how often we're gonna watch whole seasons of 24 that we already saw... still, Seasons 1-3 are the best and I suppose it would be worth owning the best of 24. The Trilogy as Kef and I calls 'em. x3

Hmmm....still not sure what I'm going to get him this year.

Bought him a $150 tool set last Father's Day, so he doesn't need tools...
            More tools on his birthday...
A creeper so he could work on his car easier for Cristmas...

So, not sure. Leaning towards taking the whole family out for breakfast then just asking him what he wants/needs.

I don't associate with my father anymore. So he gets nothing.... but maybe if he's real good I'll give him a lump of coal.

My father passed away a while ago. I can't celebrate this holiday myself, but I want to wish everyone else here a Happy Father's Day to your loved ones.

My Dad's in Florida. It's too late to send him a card, so I'll probably just email him something.
                      Lil' Bean is here!

I wouldn't be able to post in public what I'm getting my dad without breaking the rules.

If I happen to see my dad I'll probably just wave and he'll say "how ya doing" and I'll say "fine". That's pretty much been the limits of our interaction for several years.
