Re: Georgian school celebrates first intergrated prom

This will be my life theory from now on. Thank you Kirin.
Re: Georgian school celebrates first intergrated prom
This came as a total shocker to me. I guess no one really ever complained about or was deeply averse to this blatant racism.
On a moral level the fact that it took this long to integrate the proms is beyond disgusting. On a practical level, though, it seems like it wasn't hurting (nor helping) anyone much.
I'm now that much more grateful for the big, usually-friendly mix of white people, black people, brown people, and yellow people at the schools that I've gone to from Elementary all the way up to College.

But it's a good idea! At the black prom they can stop the yard while listening to rap and drinking malt liquor, and at the white prom there can be square dancing and LSD. Everybody's happy.
