One of my harddrives (a Quantum Fireball, at that - the irony) caught fire.
The logic board is dead.
I am thus missing a lot of my own music.
If any of you have ANY pandable, some disputed barricade, the rhapsody, etc tracks that aren't on the following albums, please tell me:
albums I still have:
lunaris
music for four synthesizers
mirrors
the visitant
I am thus missing...
old henderson (the dogtown album)
the marburg ep
the recording of the first TR show
the recording of the second TR show
alchemy and transmutation
and many, many tracks, including but not limited to sky fish and midnight sun.
If any of you have any material released by me - even if its just a single song - please post and tell me the name of it. I really need a lot of this back.
Also, if any of you feel like donating a dollar or two (seriously a little does go a long way - replacements aren't expensive) towards me finding another Quantum Fireball with the same firmware, so I can swap the logic boards and hopefully get my data back... please tell me. Even a dollar or two would be much appreciated. I know I don't know a lot of you that well, but I've got old friends here, and some of them like my music, so.. I thought I'd ask.
In other news, one of our cats, Almond, needs surgery for his eyes, and I'm trying to raise some money to help him out...
I have a few unopened copies of Alchemy and Transmutation, the ep I released in november, left. (I'd rather not open one in order to rip it, even though I lost the master tapes.) There are only 23 of these in existence. It's a CD-R release, as are many relases in the ambient music sector, with a lable on the CD-R (you can still kinda see the cd-r logo, sadly, under the lable) - but it is the first release on my ambient lable, Hidden Stream Records, and it's also the only release Alchemy and Transmutation will ever see.
I know there are a few die hard pandable fans out there among my friends, so I say this: far beyond donating a dollar or two to help get my hard drive back, the pressing problem is Almond and his eyes. If any of you want one of the last copies of Alchemy & Transmutation, post and let me know what you'd be willing to pay for it. All of the money will go towards almond's surgery (his eyelashes are backwards and cut his eyes), and you'll be getting one of 23 copies of a pandable album never to be reprinted.
Consider it.
Anyway, yeah.
This sucks.
