Re: Resident Evil 3: Taste of Vomit in the Back of my Throat
I was okay with the first one. its good, considering it's a video game movie.
I honestly loved the second one, even though milla tried her best to make me hate it. the damn film had so much RE Fanservice that I couldnt help but enjoy it. at the theater, me and my friend steven gave the movie a standing ovation when Nemesis said "stars". we're fanatical about the RE games, of course. we often say hello by asking where barry is. oh god, we were hoping so much for a barry reference somewhere in that movie, but it never came.
The third one... there's no hope for it. It doesnt seem to have any ties to the RE games at all. zombies in the desert? lets see... no. a desert is a horrible place for zombies. they dry out. stiff human leather cannot move. if it had SOME connection to the games, then I'd consider watching it. as-is, I'll ignore it. unless it turns out there's a barry reference.

If it didn't have the Resident Evil name, characters, and basic story arc attached to it, I'd be much more likely to enjoy it. I think it would make a decent stand-alone movie if it was unnattached to Resident Evil in any way, but alas...The unnecessary felling of a tree, perhaps the growth of centuries, seems to me a crime little short of murder." ~ Thomas Jefferson

Re: Resident Evil 3: Taste of Vomit in the Back of my Throat
will it have zombies? we don't know. is the entire game in the desert? again, we don't know. But isn't RE5 gonna be in the desert? :3
we know at least a few seconds of the game takes place in an area with sand. sand doesnt mean that there's no water, or moisture. desert means that. what we saw in the movie trailer was a desert. what we saw in the game trailer was "sandy location".

Re: Resident Evil 3: Taste of Vomit in the Back of my Throat
So it looks like the world(or at least that portion has been screwed over by the zombie infestations? Or mabey its just an abandoned desert area, and theres a big lab underneath it, and all the zombies are comming form there?
Hell, they could only spend like the first 10 minutes in the desert, then go to some other place.
It really needs more huge freaky mutants though, and not just zombies. Nemesis was the best damn part of 2.Last edited by The_Real_Crunk; 02-21-2007, 04:00 AM.
