You know, I'm one of those people who always look back fondly on the cartoons of their childhood, but whenever I actually see a clip I remember how crappy they were. Thank god for YouTube.

I have no idea what this is, but I think I was too old to watch it by the time it came on the air. I'm guessing it has something to do with Nintendo....?

Oh, I have to pick that up--I loved that as a kid! Watched it every day after school. Every Friday they had Zelda cartoons and the King Koopa counterpart to the Super Mario Bros. (I remember how whenever Link and Zelda tried to kiss, something always got in the way! )

I always thought those particular interpretations of classic nintendo characters were pretty awful. I felt the same way about the Mario and Zelda cartoons.

I think Megaman, Mother Brain, Simon, and Alucard got the worst treatment in that damn show. not a single one of them was anywhere near accurate.

I got the Super Mario Bros dvd for my sister's birthday. I really loved that show when I was growing up.
