I don't remember my dreams very often, but when I do I try and write them down. Here's one I had while back.
I was on a ship, and this old man was showing me how to tie a net. It CAN'T be that complicated in real life...he had all of these weird tools, and at one point he had to jump in just such a way...and when I started to laugh he said "boy...don't you know this is serious business?...you don't want 'the big thing' to come, do you?" And right on cue...I heard one of those unmistakable noises coming from over the side...one of those noises that said "I'm a sea monster". I went to look as everyone else ran amok...and saw that it was made of a bunch of clumps of moss or seaweed...in many different colors...brown, black, red, green, yellow...and suddenly I realised...it was made of thousands of plush toys! "Quick!" I said..."someone get a heater!" shortly thereafter. 2 guys brought out this HUGE space heater that looked like a 20's radio. Where they had gotten it, I had no idea. They plugged it in (god knows where), and turned it on. When the hot, dry air hit the thing, it curled up and began to smoke...and sank back into the water. Hooray...the beast is vanquished! The captain asked me how I knew to do that, and I explained that I had once left a plush toy in front of a heater to dry it out, and wound up setting the house on fire (this never really happened in real life). Everyone on the ship was happy, and patting me on the back...but then we heard a voice saying "excuse me...have you seen our ladder?"...we couldn't see where the voice was coming from, but soon someone saw a figure floating about 20 ft. above the deck...up in the rigging. Everyone just stood...stunned...until some soul uttered "No...we haven't seen any ladders...". The figure looks around, & sees the coiled serpent in the water...still steamimg...and says "you people misunderstand EVERYTHING..." And then flies over to it, and pulls one end straight up into the air...where it hung like a mossy column. Everyone stood there like...'HUH?' Then I woke up.
WTF...anyway...post your dreams here, or an old one that you still remember!
