    Drivers Liscense

Im going down to take the first written exam tomorrow, and Im 23. I dunno. Ive just never bothered with cars. Especially after hearing nothing but *****ing from people about how expensive gas is, and how much their insurance and car payments are.

Ive always used a bike and taken the bus. :I

I can drive, and know all the basic laws so it should be a breeze. You need 80% to pass, and I just took the online practice test and got 64%. Its multiple choice and they have those stupid kinds of questions that try to **** you over by making at LEAST 2 answers seem correct.

A school bus stops in front of you on a two lane road with traffic traveling in opposite directions. What should you do?!!!!!

    A-stop behind the bus
    B-pass the bus
C-yield to children crossing the street
D-wait until the lights stop flashing and then pass the bus

OH WHATS THAT YOU CHOSE "C"? WELL YOU'RE WRONG MORON BECAUSE "A" IS THE CORRECT ANSWER AND YOU DIDNT STOP BEHIND THE BUS AND PROBABLY DROVE ONTO THE CURB KILLING SEVERAL CHILDREN BEFORE YIELDING TO THEM.

OH NOW YOU WANT TO CHOOSE "A". YOU HORRIBLE MONSTER. YOU STOPPED BEHIND THE BUS BUT DIDNT GIVE A RATS ASS ABOUT YIELDING TO CHILDREN AND NOW THEY ARE ALL DEAD AND YOU RAN THEM OVER.

Do you think you have what it takes to drive in Canada?

I've only driven once in a parking lot and am wholeheartedly confident I could drive better and obey traffic laws better than 90% of the dimwits out there on the road with licences.

When I went to get my license, during the driving part, the examiner took points off because I didn't want to go 25 on a residential street where children were playing (never know when one of them is going to run out in the street). Apparently a good driver is supposed always go no less than the posted speed limit, no matter who that may endanger. >_>

I never bothered to attempt to get a license until I got my current job doing tires and oil changes at Walmart. I'm required to have a license so I can drive cars in and out of the garage. Well with lessons from a couple of my coworkers I've taken and failed the driving test three times. First time I screwed up completely and couldn't even back up straight. Second time I failed the parallel parking and turned too fast. Third time I passed all the maneuvers but drove too slow. After three failures I had to wait two months to try again, it's been almost four months and I haven't been behind the wheel once. People keep suggesting driving courses but they're expensive and I don't even want this job anymore so what's the point.

there is laws about going under the speed limit. you can get a fine just as if you where rocketing over the limit. just take the child casualties and save loosing the point.

Laws for going under the speed limit are usually 10 to 15 under the posted limit before it's a problem. Unless Thutmose was in a 25 doing 13 it shouldn't have been an issue, even on a driving test.

The reason you got that one wrong, crunk is because yielding implies you're still moving, and if you pass a stopped schoolbus with the arm out, you can get ticketed.

When I took my driving test, I almost ran over a squirrel.

Also, I think the minimum speed limit only really applies to highways.

Yeah, I have no idea why you wouldn't pick A. It's pretty clearly the correct answer. {:/

Also, bicycles and public transportation don't cut it in my neck of the woods. You can't get to downtown on a bicycle and KC's public transportation might as well not exist.

Can you get to the Route 5/Parkwood Blvd area by bicycle?

I just got my international drivers license for the hell of it.

Supposedly there is a 60% failure rate for first time testers. But I made it mine.
