This is a Sega distributed, Platinum Games co-developed DS game based on an Arthur C. Clarke novella. 60-100 hours is claimed, with a huge amount of crew/spaceship customization. It's slated for release in spring 2010.


Why oh why are all the good games (half pushed back from this year) coming out in the first half of 2010? I'm also wondering if this counts in the Sega/Platinum distribution deal that includes MadWorld and Bayonetta.

This sounds like fun. I wish it was available on another platform. It's a shame they couldn't come up with a title with more panache than Infinite Space.

Infinite Space - DS

I am suprised that no one has mention that the game is out now.

I started playing it and I really like it so far. Neat designs on the ships.


The only things I don't like are the sounds. They sound rather muted or muffled in some way. Not sure what the deal is with that. But it isn't a big deal.

I like what I see so far. But I do have that feeling that it could be a great game on the big consoles. Since it has a lot of detail that is rather squeezed on the DS screen.

It's a 60 hour RPG on a platform LOUSY with RPGs. Released at a time of year full of other RPGs. PASS... for now.

Look, I think it's interesting, but I got Strange Journey, Pokemon, FFVAdvance and the whole finding-a-job thing, so I dunno.
