I would accept a Legend of Dragoon sequel if it changed every single aspect of the game except for the combo system in the battles.
The story was horrendous and cliche, the characters were boring and flat, the world map was like running around on a Super Mario Brothers map with random battles, the Dragoon system was extraneous and pointless, the item limit was far too small, the random battles were far too common, the locations were generally uninteresting, there were random battles in places where there were also enemies for you to try and evade, the voice-acting (what there was of it) was atrocious, there were spots on the world map that you had to cross through again and again if you needed to backtrack for no reason whatsoever that it made you play through each time, I couldn't even tell you if the music was any good because I don't remember it.
