Games that you'd like to see but will (most likely) never be...
Although why ask for another version of FF 12? The superior version of that game was released in America already. Three years before FF 12, in fact. It's called Knights of the Old Republic.
I disagree, but we'll leave it at that. And I'd like to see IZJS over here simply because I'm a FFXII fanatic, and I want an expanded game to conquer while being forced to use certain classes (just not buying the licenses isn't the same, especially considering the layout of the board). Admittedly, from SE's standpoint, that's probably a pretty niche market, especially considering the PS2 is all but dead and gone at this point.
Re: Games that you'd like to see but will (most likely) never be...
I loved FFXII's battle system, and feel like I'm the only one I know who does. But similar to the Legend of Dragoon comment, that was about all I was attached to. The other thing I'll give XII is I found all the playable characters likeable except for Vaan. .... P.S. Balthier, he was a baller.
As far as turning Shadowrun into a GTA style game, I wouldn't care for it as much as how I fantasize the idea. I've grown tired of GTA and its clone games post-Vice City. It was fun for me while it lasted, but since San Andreas and what I've tried of Scarface: The World Is Yours, it feels like I've "been there and done that". The only exception for me would be Bully, which I thought was a success. Speaking of which...a Bully sequel?
Although what I had in mind isn't a perfect idea either. As often as I criticize Bethesda (I know I'm going to hate myself for saying this here but **** it...) I entertain a Shadowrun in a similar foundation as Fallout 3. An action RPG with basic first person shooter elements. And before anyone says the to-date Shadowrun is exactly that way, I'd have to disagree. It's a misson-based shooter with a few powers and gadgets in an attempt to give it some RPG feel. The end. Really, I think it would be cool to explore a world like that in a similar fashion as I could in FO3 and do jobs/quests to my liking. Of course, if Bethesda did take the rights, the "literary liberties" they'd likely take just may be enough to **** me the hell off. So that's something of a conflict of interest there. That's it...I just need to buy the rights from...Microsoft (still?) and make the damn thing myself.
All joking aside but yet still on that twisted Action RPG spiral, am I the only one who thinks a new Arcanum (in that route) would be awesome?
Re: Games that you'd like to see but will (most likely) never be...
I'd rather see a modern Shadowrun game with the style of, say, Baldur's Gate/Icewind Dale/etc. (with customizable AI for your runners and a nice, neat, and quick battle system) than simply a glorified FPS with bells and whistles.
Something like Fallout Tactics might be nice. I know that style's not exactly console-friendly, but whatever.
I'll add another game to the list.
- An updated version of Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike. It still sees tons of play worldwide, both in casual and competitive circles, but it's been unbalanced for 10+ years (and I'd say it's lasted this long in spite of that). Nerf a few moves here and there. Make some characters, like Twelve and Sean, at least somewhat useful. Hell, give it the HD treatment like Capcom did recently with Super SFII.

Final Fantasy XII look great . But , I don't like his battle systems . Many studio trying creating a battle systems mix ''Turn-Based'' and ''Real-Time'' . The best mix of it is Grandia .

Eh. I liked the Knights of the Old Republic turn-based system so it was only natural that I liked FFXII's. Of course, Baldur's Gate was the root of all that. And while I have the opportunity to take a stab at what I don't like about Fallout: Tactics, I'll take a break for a while.
