This game is basically Final Fantasy X-3.

I mean, it's borderline interactive movie, but I'm about 9 hours in, and the battle system is pretty solid.

Story doesn't make much sense, but at least the game has some solid characters.

I played an hour's worth after posting, and I feel better about it. Got some more character interaction goin' on, got some more paradigm roles to mess with. I can best describe battles as an orchestra in which the player is the conductor.

I GET IT now, but I don't like having to read an index to find out what's going on. They did the same thing with character histories in Valkyrie Profile 2. Just feels awfully impersonal.

Am I the only one moderately amused by the fact Snow is in love with a twelve year old?

I GET IT now, but I don't like having to read an index to find out what's going on... Just feels awfully impersonal.

It's either that or sit through extra hours of cinema to explain things. The days of me having the patience to sit through stuff like that are long gone.

I am enjoying XIII so far.

It's either that or replace any given scene of Lightning doing somersaults with one conversation of someone telling someone else what's going on.

Or, heck, the flashbacks work pretty well. I wish they came four hours sooner.

I'm waiting for FF14.

Well, I happened to be near a store today, and everyone's happy comments here and elsewhere turned me into a liar apparently and I bought on impulse (along with Heavy Rain, I wanted that one anyway).

Haven't played yet, though.
