AR Max save files/Impressions on downloaded game

Is there any way to differentiate any RPG Maker 3 games saved on a flash drive without transferring them to a memory card first? Because I downloaded all the RPGM3 games people have posted, but when I go to transfer them onto a memory card, they all say, RPG Maker save data 1, or something to that effect. I guess I just have to write down the order they are on the drive using a computer and then count to find the one I want to transfer to a memory card. Now, then....I began playing my first game (not mentioning any names)...and boy, was I disappointed. I only played for an hour or so, and it was filled with grammatical errors and spelling errors. I loaded up the edit screen to give it a gander, and found that most of the characters in the game use only 1 or 2 modes, and there was no evidence anywhere of usage of variables. I mean, the average character in my game has 5 or 6 modes. It looks like a very linear, point A to point B type affair. Maybe it's just because I set such high expectations for my own game (minimum of 0 spelling errors/grammatical errors/typos...I'm sorry, but it's important to me-I'm a stickler for the English language) that this seemed kind of dull and monotonous. And having to fight 4 or 5 battles (including a boss) and only being given 2 heal items...that's overly ridiculous. I know that was off topic of the post, but I wanted to share my feelings on my first experience playing someone else's game.

Did you download a project for the Garbage Contest? All those are utter crap on purpose.

Phew, good thing that wasn't MY game!

If you use the PC disc on your computer, it'll show you the names of the files.

          I had the same problem.

I just downloaded them one at a time to the PC, and renamed the files as I went.

          Bit late for that now...

Just enjoy the mystery, I guess.

          Peace.

          MOO!

when I read this type of reaction to someones game, it scares me a little.

He still hasn't responded to my first comment, If it was for the Garbage Contest then you shouldn't worry.

I think we should have (IMO) a section for each RPGM for contests so people that cant read that little text know it was for a contest.

No, it was for a legitimate game (I avoided downloading anything for the garbage contest)...I played another one that makes the above mentioned game look like Final Fantasy by comparison...I literally could not make it past the intro...therewe re wo rds lik e th isal l ov ert he pl ace....and that terrible"l33t" writing everywhere...and worse yet...many of the storytellers (I DID go into the editor to see just what this person did) had the story that the person had typed, and after it, it said "New Message"...this person just started typing and did not even delete the "new message" text on his storytellers. I did not know whether to laugh or cry. Anyway, I'm gonna try to play another one soon. Seeing games like this gives me an extra incentive to try to learn RPGM 2, because I have a feeling that if someone spent the time to learn the ins and outs of that, I wouldn't see a game like this one. Maybe RPGM3 is just a BIT too easy to learn...as the package says, a 10 year old can do it...but do I really want to play a game made by a ten year old?

That's the whole thing about RPGM3's saving system, it'll just come up on the Max Memory screen as "RPG MAKER3 DATA1" No name, no nothing.

Like Rodak said, play one at a time.

Man, it really sounds like you're playing games intended for the Complete Garbage contest. Maybe some of the contest entries aren't marked. What are the games you've tried so far?

That one sounds like one of the garbage contest entries. I should know, I played all of them, and this one sounds pretty familiar. If I'm sure of which one it was, I actually kind of liked it.

I just looked, and none of the games I have played thus far have marked anywhere on them that they were made for the garbage contest. If you play any of the other games, you'll probably know which one I'm talking about. I do not want to sound so negative, so I'm purposely not mentioning any names. I just think that, even if you purposely (or not purposely) make a bad game, you should at least hit the triangle button when you start a storyteller dialogue to get rid of the "new message"..

There is one, however, that isn't marked for the garbage contest, but is... I've played just about all of the other games as well.

Did the main character continue to profess how gay he was, and did all the other characters talk about getting stoned off of Hideo Kojima's bong?...because this game was not marked as garbage....if I'd known that this was what it was supposed to be for, I probably would have been more forgiving.
