I wanted to lower ALL the land on a map (To make a river look realistic) but it's impossible! even if you pick the biggest selection it just lowers the center of the selection! and if you try to use the "Smooth" or "Stretch" tool it just makes it worse! Isn't there a way to make an even elevated ground that is almost level with the river?

Yeah, you have to lower the land in more then just that one spot. Or for people that can't seem to get stuff smooth start out with the entire map water and then draw the land out. Then raise it all out of the water. Either way it's something you can't really teach through words. You'll just have to keep experimenting until you learn.

Depends on what one you choose. Low is around 40. I don't know any of the others.Comment
