I need some help with downloading games from here.

I just got my AR Max Evo. Edition, and the manual confuses me. Does anyone have a simple yet helpful description on how to get the game from here to my PS2??

It's been awhile since I've used my max drive so this may be a little off:

1. Download the file from here to your hard drive.
2. Find the .max file in the zip folder and save it to your max drive.
3. Plug the max drive into one of the USB ports on your PS2.
4. Start up the PS2 with the Max Drive for PS2 software disk in the tray.
5. Select the max drive once the software is done loading and select the .max file, then use the uncrush function to copy the file to the memory card. (NEVER use the "move" or "delete" functions, which may destroy the memory card).
6. Once the copying is complete the file will be on your memory card and should then be ready to play.

EDIT: OK, slight problem. I don't know how to save to file to my Max Drive. Is there something else I need like a software or something?

No, just put it into your usb port, then just save directly onto the flash drive.

It's telling me that it can't open because it doesn't know what file it's coming from. When I say that I want to select a file from what is already on my laptop, it doesn't have my max drive file. How do I install the max drive on to my laptop? Do I need to install it into my laptop? I'M SO CONFUSED!!!!!!!!!

you were already given the exact instructions for what you need to do (there's even a "how to" page on the pav, in addition to an article about the max drive itself).

if the instructions arent working, you need to give more info. step by step explanations of exactly what you're doing.

and if you're using the max drive PC software, stop. you don't need it. it over-complicates things. just drag and drop stuff onto the max drive manually.

Alright, I looked at the manual and it says I have to download some software that supposedly came with it. I have no clue whatsoever about what this software looks like and it doesn't really tell me whether it's software on a disk that came with it or software on the max drive...

all you need is the USB storage device and the PS2 disc. nothing else matters.

I got it onto my max drive, copied it onto my ps2 memory card, and uncrushed it. Yet it doesn't come up on the rpgm3 load screen. WHAT IN THE WORLD AM I DOING WRONG!!!!!?????

Yes, actually, I did. That's where my laptop says it can't open it because it doesn't know what program to open it under.

(Will anyone answer my question about how I play it on my PS2?)

Silly Wabbit...

Don't try to open the .max file on your laptop!

Just move it to the max drive by opening a window for it in "my 'puter" and drag it there.

Then use the max drive and max drive cd to get it on the playstation 2.

I did all of that stuff, but it won't let me play the game on my rpgm3. How do I do that?

Once you have the game on your memory card.

Put in the RPG Maker 3 disk and the memory card.

You will see the title screen that says:
Edit
Play
Options
Load

Select "Load"

Select "from memory card"

Select "Yes"

Choose the game

Choose "Yes"

Choose "OK"

Now you're back at the title screen

Select "PLay"

Select "Start"

That should do it.
