Lots of questions

i've decided to take another crack at rpgmaker2 so instead of making a thousand topics i'll just post in this one.

1. Do characters keep thier class levels when you switch?
2. When i start up the game my ps2 makes a buzzing sound is this because it's a blue disc?

1) I've never used the class switch feature, but a quick test should answer that one easily enough. Does switching allow switching back? Again - just make a test scene to find out (I would, but my PS2 is deeply buried...)

2) Do other blue discs make that sound? It seems such a thing should be all or nothing. Could be just something with that one, unique, disc. Mine does not do that.

This is my second ps2 and my second disc which don't have any scratches, all my other games work fine this is the only blue disc i have. I'll try out the class switch, the scripting is easy enough for me to do.

I don't think you even need to script it. Isn't there a class switch thingy in the sample game?

Just edit your characters to be higher level to be certain the switch is working. That should be much simpler, unless you want the experience of doing it yourself (always better when learning!).

Yes it does keep track of a persons class level.
