Trying to learn RPG Maker 2

I figure I'd just make one topic to post all my random RPGMaker 2 questions in.

I'm just messing around with a Normal mode file to get the hang of things.

I made a script, set it to an event and placed the event in the beginning town. Problem is, when I go to test play, it doesn't show up. I actually figured this out right after I posted the question. I needed to place my event in with the other events in the events placement menu. Is there only one event place allowed per level, or can it be changed?

Not sure what you mean by "level" in this context.

If you mean "Map" then there is only one place to add events to a map for each map. But you can place as many events as the system will handle. You need to create new event placement thingys in "World Organization" if you make new maps.

I suppose if you max it out and still want more, you could make a new event placement thingy for that map, but that would be a LOT of events!
I think I'll wait for clarification before listing a bunch of irrelevant crappe like I was just typing while guessing what that may mean...
