what would you do if you woke up in a dusty old cave, with no recollection of who you are, and a dusty old crystal by your side?
would you want answers?
What if the answers you sought were enough to drive you mad?
Would you still dare to seek the knowledge of your existence?
He does...
Nash's quest will be for RPG Maker three and it'll be my first RPG Maker project of any kind. i'm going for kind of an offbeat feel, like one reminiscent of falcom's Ys series. while that may turn most prospective players off to this endeavor, i like the old style RPGs. from the time before square hit it big with their winning formula. simple quests, item collecting, multiple characters.
no main boss, per se, but with a little luck, it won't need one. it'll be split into three games, starting from the moment Nash awakens in the cave. throughout his adventures he'll meet many friends, but will they be enough to keep him sane when he discover's the secrets to the old crystal he posesses?
Not too much here beyond the story, but that's what works best for me. there will be several fairly long quests to each game, but no custom battle systems or anything else like that. RPG Maker 3 will do what i need nicely on it's own.
and to keep things from getting stale, three will be twice as long with two different perspectives.
