    10 years in the making

its taken 10 years to get my game chronicles of the sword - whops i mean crystal shores - to this point but ive finally finished a demo and its submitted. most of the struggle was stopping myself from endlessly nitpicking and editing the game. sometimes you just have to say enough and put forth what you got.

i had no idea play testing took so long but it was well worth it. even with the amount of time i spent polishing everything, i still had a ton of little errors and missed takeovers that would of crushed the game. always playtest, even the battles too, its well worth it.

i cant wait to get this whole game over with, its taken so much of my life already. 520 hours on this attempt.

Thank you Ωbright for the sig fix!
Card Three is released! You can find it here!

Dude, I would so love to play your demo, but no RPGM1.

Congratulations, Karr. That was some dedication.

Unfortunately I still don't have a DEX drive, but I'd like to play this also.

And I thought I dragged my ass taking 5 years to do my game. Don't feel bad about it though, if it's a good game, it's worth the time spent. We're all doing these as labors of love.

This sounds encouraging. I've seen lots of user-created content out there for a number of games that had problems because it wasn't tested. I tested my game pretty heavily myself, though I wouldn't be surprised if there were small problems toward the end when I just wanted to finish the damn thing. Sometimes, people miss little things. But anyway, it's good to see that you took the time to test stuff, because events, especially complex ones, can break in so many ways if you're not careful.

Congrats man. I will be getting RPG Maker 1 really soon, but no dex drive. Hopefully this can be turned into a .psv file because I really look forward to seeing what you've done. 10 years is dedication.

I guess that is a small problem with taking 10 years to finish anything technology related...... technology moves on without you

You don't need one. You can play them on your PC if you have an emulator.

Congrats, my friend! I've seen the dev threads and this looks to be great. Of course, like everyone else I don't have a Dex Drive. Perhaps I'll buy one if you create the full game and I hear it rocks. Until then, I'll definitely follow this

No, the emulator isn't illegal. The BIOS file is, however...

                        meh.

I have a PS1 emulator. Used it to do the RPG Tsukuru 4 feature (using an actual disc, mind you).

Can you buy working Dex Drives anymore? I've seen them on Amazon, but would they still work? They're pretty cheap in price.
