    Re: Finished game

30 steps per second is very slow. 400 would be verrrrry sloooooow. The higher the number, the slower the character moves.

Standard movement for the party is 8 steps per second. 4 steps per second with the circle button held down. You can use the movement commands to move the party 16 (half speed), 8, 4, 2, and 1 step per second. Events can be set to any number between 100 (undetectably slow) to 0 (lightning fast). Play test with different numbers until you get a combination that works.

Oh, now that your here, do you think my story is to cliche, and what do you think of the chase idea, for example, I loved the Dahuaka chases in Warrior within.

Oh, would it be alright with everbody, if I make a silent film like game,
I want to practice with text some before I start getting ahead of myself.
I only have one line of text. Oh and video game name changed to Lone
        Phantom: The Human mind.

Any story sounds cliche when you summarize it. There is nothing overly cliche about what you have said so far. The important this is to avoid boring the player with a lot of fights, boring fetch quests (you can have fetch quests, just don't make them boring or pointless), and/or boring/ dull puzzles. If you enjoy playing through your game, you might have a winner. If you get bored play testing it, then it might need so work.

Chase scenes can be made very cinematic and fun or dull and pointless. Again, it depends on what you do with the idea.

Go ahead and make a film like game. A couple have all ready been done and they are very funny. Perhaps you can come up with a different approach. Do your best and I'll be happy with whatever you decide to do.

This is a true example of what a good person is on this board.

correct because I am currently adding bonus features,150% done
considering its a demo, another words, longer than a demo, yet shorter then
a 5 minite story, good question, I knew someone would ask, I predicted it.

it was a accident okay, when ever I notice a error, I click the back arrow
key, anaware that it is what cuases the double posting until its to late. sometimes
it even happens when I click edit.

                            Re: Finished game

no. it does not happen when you click edit. it happens when you're not paying attention and just click the wrong button. are you suggesting that the forum software works flawlessly for everyone but you? I don't buy that. the only place consecutive posting is tolerated is in main forum, where there is no edit option.

                            my warning stands.
