I just got my copy yesterday. Did anyone else get it? I think it's pretty good. It's not as good as Smash Bros but, it's much better than other Smash Bros clones like World Fighters. It controls a lot like Smash but, there are no smash moves and I don't think there are throws either. You do get to use the touch screen to change characters and call in characters for special moves. It's pretty hard to learn how to play without knowing how to read Japanese. Other than the words "Jump Superstars" there is no English in the game. Playing through the one player mode is nearly impossible without a translation guide. It's like Soul Calibur's conquest mode. They give you different objectives for every stage and you unlock things like characters, stages, and manga panels as you go along. The touch screen is a manga page and you can use the panels you unlock to create your own page. So, you can make a page with Naruto and Luffy as your characters and put in other support characters in there too. I think it's a pretty cool feature.

The game also supports one cart multiplayer. You can't choose your characters or manga pages though. I haven't tried it with multiple carts.

You can also trade your custom manga pages with others.

So far I've played with Luffy, Yoh, Zoro, Naruto, Nami, Sakura, Bobobo, Goku, and that's it I think. I've seen other characters like Sanji and some Ichigo 100% girls as support characters. And I guess that guy from Dr. Slump is the villain. I think I just saw him after beating the first world.

Yeah, Arale is actually on the cover under Naruto's arm. She's not there on most promotional pictures of the box though. I don't know what kind of character she is. Probably support.

Dr. Mashirito, Dr. Slump's rival, is in this game (he's the villain). I would love to play this, but I don't have any extra cash to import it right now.

They probably couldn't include Arale as a playable character, because she would kick too much ass. She is a near-indestructible robot with super strength and a love of unchi. I doubt anyone in that game would be able to stop her!

Just "beat" the game a little while ago. Beat but not completed. I saw the credits and unlocked Goku and Vegeta but, I've really only seen about a fourth of the game. I only have like 12 hours logged in too!.This game rules. I recommend it to anyone who likes even just a few of these series.

Oh, and the guy in the cutscenes was actually Dr. Slump. I got mixed up. I haven't even seen Dr. Mashirito yet.

One thing that kind of sucks is that a lot of the support characters like Shikimaru and Hinata don't get battle koma but main characters like Luffy, Bobobo, Goku, and Naruto get like 3 different battle koma with different specials.

Oh and Arale is totally a battle character. A very special one too. I don't want to spoil any more.

That thing that looks like a purple pile of poop is the symbol for the Dr. SLump characters and I think it's one of Dr. Slump's attacks also.

Import DS games play just fine on a US DS.

Oh, thats sweet, thats unusual of nintendo, but whatever. Now I need to pick up ds... which might be a while, since I'm saving up for a projector...

I think you can find them used fairly cheap... If you wait a while, the price might drop.

As for the import issue, the old JP gameboy games play on US gameboys, same with advance games. The only thing you need a mod or a boot disc for is the cube.
