I submitted a working demo (a bare-bones working demo, but a demo nonetheless) to the mag, and will have it previewed in the print issue of the mag. I gave up on the conversations for a while in order to do some actual programming. I wanted this to be in the print issue of the mag, and it now will be. I'll probably work more on it this weekend, as I'm not planning on going to my friend's house and being up for another 40 hours straight. I'll be at home by my little lonesome, which should be motivation enough to do more work. As of right now, the demo submitted basically includes a system for buying seeds, planting veggies, harvesting and selling them; buying chickens, harvesting eggs from them, and selling them; and catching fish and selling them. There are two characters who you can engage in three different conversations with each day, and these three conversations will be different the next day, with a total of 30 different conversations for each character. That's the update.
