She is me and I am her, although she doesn’t want to admit it. She doesn’t even want to remember my existence, because to her I am just an embrarrassing reminder of the dark thoughts she never wanted to embrace. She acts innocent, wields the forces of light and pretends to be a hero. But I know. She doesn’t want those creeps who killed her grandfather to go to jail. She wants to put an end to their own pitiful lives. She… I want them to suffer.

Lina you denied my existence. You and your so called path for justice. And what is that? I’ll show you. I can do it better. Yes, I’ll be the hero. I’ll be a good girl. And I’ll find those animals that killed gramps. And the Fluorescent, I’ll show myself to you. And we will finally find who is strongest.

Your powers of light Fluorescent. My powers of darkness. Can you defeat yourself? For I am Ekhlipse. And I shall drown out your existence. "

(Ekhlipse is Lina's split personality. While Ekhlipse is aware of who she is, Lina however is not. Ekhlipse was born in Lina's psych after the brutal fire. Her bottled up fear, rage and hatred towards the men responsible bore this dark entity. Although made on CoH, Ekhlipse is meant to be a CoV character. There will be a day when Fluor and Ekhlipse battle each other one on one.)

Then there came the Archer class. Lemme tell you when that first started out on CoH, there were elves and archers left and right. LightArrow, straight Arrow, The Silver Arrow, bow guy, you get the idea. I wanted to check out the archer class too, but confound it, the dilemma was how to set the hero apart from everyone else creating an archer. Who else was known to use bows? And then it was simple:



Real Name: Chhawi Nalini
Age: 18

Although Chhawi has lived in Paragon City all her life, her lineage actually travels backwards to a tribe of Cherokee Indians. Her family still practices the old ways and customs of the tribe, with Chhawi being no exception. However, she had one passionate desire: to become a hero of Paragon City. Even at the age of ten, she wanted to fight beside the city’s legends. But she could only watch on the sidelines, as she was a as normal an everyday girl could be. But her heart knew that somehow it was her destiny.

Then her grandfather came to her one night with a vision and told her that she was to fight a great evil one day in Paragon City and save it from utter destruction. And then she received from him a bow, the bow passed down from father to son with every generation. Chhawi knew then that her path was set. Her skill with a bow was unmatched. Plus, she spent time working in an electronics shop and was very good at creating new things.



Her grandfather, remembering how she had raised a pair of baby foxes abandoned in Perez Park when she was younger, labeled her "Foxtail".

Of course, if I ever get her high enough, there will be another reason for that name. She'll be able to "call upon the ancestral spirit of an animal: a fox" and use it's abilities. (In CoH's case she'll become super fast.) She'll also get a new costume, where she'll actually look like a fox.

Since there is no way i'm staying up until midnight tonight, i'm going to extend the deadline until about 5pm PDT tomorrow (usually when i get home from work). i'm going to send PM's to all the people that showed interest but havent posted yet, but if they dont post by 5pm Monday 6/5/06 then i'll base my decision on what we have.

My main character in CoH is on Freedom, his name, The Blue Buster!

Bio:Tired of all the crime going on in Paragon City since the arrival of the Rikti, Jason Jordan decided he wanted to make a difference in the world.

Training in martial arts, and disciplining his mind and body to the peak of human performance, Jason Jordan set out in Paragon City to make a difference.

After being severly wounded in a battle against the Clockwork, Jason took the parts from their bodies, and forged super strong gloves and boots, which made them extremely durable but lightweight. Using that alloy to weave into his clothing, he ceased to be Jason Jordan, and became The Blue Buster.

But, over time, the clockwork alloy has started to alter his body...

Once Issue 7 comes out (which should be tuesday or wednesday i hope), i'm going to modify one of his costumes, because my intent is for his first costume to be his normal costume, his 2nd costume to show effects of the clockwork alloy on his body, the 3rd costume to be a little different than it is now, but with one or two clockwork components, and then once i reach 40 and get his last costume, it is going to be his ultimate form, a mixture of human and clockwork components.

And yeah, its midnight i know, but oh well.

Allright, I've got my character down, I used her breifly on my account but stopped for some reason, here was the story I had made for her for the most part. (I'm going for the CoV copy)

Sorry that it's kinda rushed at the end.

Basketcase:

Emily Roopernane was a sick girl when she was a kid. She suffered illness almost constantly and lived in a dirty slummy home in King's Row. She also had the misfortune of being brought up in an impovershed home, despite her parent's best efforts, they were simply unable to provide for their daughter and the adoption agencies wouldn't give her a second look because of her history of illness. Emily's childhood was bleak at it's best. This wasn't like your typically hollywood story about a kid from the slums. She didn't have a special ability to spell really good or win some running contest; all she had were her illnesses.

Her nosy neighbors didn't help much; either. Of course, their hearts were in the right place, they saw the flithy home that she lived in, her parents weren't home enough to clean it and she was seldom strong enough to lift a finger around the house. They demanded that the child be taken away from her parents. Emily spent many summers talking to CPA agents about the state of her home, and then being given the news that they couldn't find her a foster home.

Her life at home other than time spent talking to CPA agents was mostly trying to do chores around the house, or recovering from yet another sickness. There was one thing, though. There was a room in her house that was always locked, she didn't know what was in there and her mom would warn her that she shouldn't knock on the door when it is locked. When Emily would put her ear to the door, she could swear that she could hear breathing on the other side. It was something that scared her on those many days where she had to miss school and stayed at home.

Finally, Emily contracted a highly contagious illness that got many of the children in the neighborhood sick as well, the neighbors had had enough at this point; and now demanded that her parents take Emily to a doctor. Once more they demanded what should be done with her life, but none of them had the courtesty to at least assist her parents in the deeds. Most of the doctors in galaxy city were far out of her parents pricing range, and even pleas for help to the mayor that her parents mailed went unnoticed.

Finally, her parents had found a doctor in King's Row that they heard could help Emily and was much cheaper than any of the doctors in Galaxy city and even the modestly priced Crowne Memorial. They took her to this doctor, and he promised that he could cure her, and even strengthen her immune system so she would hardly ever get sick again. Her parents were overjoyed, if only for the fact that the neighbors would finally let them live in peace if Emily were to be able to resist illness.

The only thing they didn't realize was that this doctor was Doctor Vazhilok, the insane doctor obsessed with reanimating the dead in order to improve humanity according to his own twisted vision. The sinister doctor had eluded capture from heroes many times over the past years as he perfected his ultimate creation, the eidolon. He had all the factors figured out, take the parts of the greatest heroes who had ever lived and put them together, but there was just one thing missing, the eidolons weren't mindless zombies like his cadavers, and his reapers were so brainwashed that their minds couldn't be influeced further in order to take advantage of the gifts that these heroes parts would bring. He needed a mind that he could use to control the body, and Emily's parents just brought him one in their 14 year old daughter.

There was just one thing, she was too young. The doctor had to wait for her to mature.

He arrived at the home of the Roopernane's early one october evening, and gave them the news that Emily had passed away despite his best efforts. A funeral was set up and everything, and to the world Emily Roopernane was dead. A few years passed and the nosy neighbors would forget that she even existed.

But she was still alive; kept as the prisoner of the doctor as he waited for the right time. Finally when she was 20 the time had come and he was ready to have her mind transferred among the many eidolons that he had created. The process was almost completed when a group of fledgeling superheroes, mentored by the Backalley Brawler broke up the "ritual", leaving Emily's mind fragmented and the eidolons with enough intelligence to operate. Vazhilok, not willing to have his creation destroyed, even if they're only halfway finished, fled the scene, leaving Emily behind.

The heroes tried to approach the captive, her skin was dyed a deathly purple tone and she frantically ran from the heroes, thinking them to be more of Vazhilok's men, she held out her arms. And in something that could only be described as a side effect of the process, she unleashed a crushing gravity field, one so strong that her weak and malnorished body was unable to handle it (how gravity control came from a mind siphon machine, you ask? Who cares? It's comic book logic). None of the heroes were harmed, and in fact one of them, Fire Ant, took her broken body to Talos Island, a friend of hers, some tech junky she can't remember the name of helped her recover.

Now, Emily can't survive the outside world without use of a respirator to stimulate her crushed lungs and circuitry wired throughout her body to keep her mobile. Why did they even want her to live? She'd figure, why be damned to such a state?

But the thought of being the hero intrigued her. At first, "Basketcase" was one of the new heroes of King's Row, she helped out the children when they would be preyed upon, and when she had the time she would keep an eye on her parents. Everything seemed great for the new superhero.

Until something else changed in her life. She watched her father come home one night, distraught over the fact that he had been fired from a job at one of the local warehouses. One that she later found out was manufacturing that drug the gangs all use (Was it superdine? I don't remember) Basketcase stormed the warehouse and demanded answers, the foreman told her that the Superdine rumors were false, though. And that her father wasn't fired for finding out about it, but rather for the alcohol problem he claimed him and his wife had had for years, even before the unfortunate death of their daughter.

In a rage, Emily stormed back to her home, and found the illusion of her parents caring as best as they could smitten. Old letters to the mayor of the town, pleading for help in Emily's conditions would lay in drawers around the house, not send not out of cruelty or spite, but out of sheer neglect in the pursuit of drinking down yet another night in the hell that King's Row was. Liquor bottles were displayed all over, sucked dry, and finally the locked door from her childhood that she remembered she now had the strength to open, and she did. Her mother was inside, recovering from a hangover.

It was all neglect, alcohol ruined her life, but more importantly the skewed economy of Paragon City itself did. With all the heroes in the world, why hadn't King's Row changed for the better? An embittered Basketcase gave up her heroic ways at that point.


Her main purpose now is hunting down Doctor Vazhilok and stopping him with his own creation, the Basketcase.


Fun fact: When we first started playing the game, we referred to the Vazhilok as "Valk's cocks", I don't quite know why.

SuperHamn was adopted by his Grandma and Grandpa after they found him near a mysteriously crashed spaceship that look suspiciously like a giant refridgerator. Originally they thought he was just an oversized pig and that the radiation from the spaceship had just made him huge. However, they found out he just wasn’t a prize winning pig ( though this certainly didn’t stop them from entering him in contests to win them boatloads of cash) and more importantly dinner after he started speaking their language. Apparently he hailed from the planet of Swyne and was the sole survivor as his planet and his people had been invaded (and most likely eaten ) by the Canites, aliens resembling humanoid wolves. Upon noticing his strange powers. His grandparents named him "SuperHamn" and told him to go to Paragon City to make millions…er…fight for the greater good.

Blah, I know it's too late for the contest, so I'm still gonna enter in my own character(s), even without pictures.

FemDef-
A half-way organized group of female superheros from a fairly distant Earth. The colonies have streached out to the far reaches of the tenth planet, with Pluto quickly being designated as a prison planet, and Jupitor the planet where the Solar System Planetary Parliment resides. FemDef were joined together mostly by coincidence and cercumstance (forgive my spelling) but they soon were fast growing as one of the most well known super groups of the day.

Superheros were once something of comic books and movies in the world of Earth, but as population increased, and people were forced to make cities underground, war broke out above the surface. Nuclear bombs were used as the last of the colonists left Earth's orbit, and the nuclear winter as well. A hundred years in the future, the decendents of those who dwelled aboveground at the time of the Nuclear Winter suddenly began to gain strange powers, some using them for good, some for evil.

None realizing the war that was being fought on a much grander scale-->

Natore(the Leader)
Real Name – Jocelyn Alexander
Age - 25
Hair – Blonde
Eyes – Green
Skin – Pale Caucasian
Powers – The ability to control the basic concepts of nature, not including animals and weather. Such abilities allow her to manipulate the growth of plants, the stability of soil/ground, and some slight ability to alter atmosphere(i.e. Can create a six-foot bubble of thin atmosphere equal to that of 10,000 feet altitude).
Past – Born to a high-ranking member of the Solar Parliament, Natore had a good life. When she gained her powers at the age of six, she was at first curious of it, but soon became ashamed after the reactions of her schoolmates. She hid it from her parents and teachers, denying any ability when her schoolmates attempted to turn her in. She soon found they were harder and harder to keep a secret as she reached puberty, where they soon grew nearly out of control. Her father found them out, and took her to a boarding school that specialized in the teaching of such students. His upbeat reaction took her by surprise, and it was then that she decided her powers could be used for good. After five years in the school, she decided to take a job as a professor. Soon after, however, her father died of the Jupiter Plague (a type of cancer found on the colonies of Jupiter). She mourned in solitude for a year before realizing that she could do something greater for the world, and began her search for more people like herself.
Costume – Wears blue and light blue colors, with her hair pulled back in a pony-tail. She wears loose fitting garments (light blue peasant’s blouse, dark blue pants) and a pair of black combat boots. Her mask has eye-filters that cover her eye color, and is split down the center, giving the look of the bottom of butterfly wings.

Amazon (Second In Command)
Real Name – Tori Grant
Age – 29
Hair – Black
Eyes – Brown
Skin – Dark African-American
Powers – Enhanced speed, reflexes, and strength. Wields a high-tech compound bow. Some control over larger cats, mostly the Jupiter crossbreeds. Unusually high intelligence.
Past – Born and raised on Earth, Amazon has always been more physically advanced then anyone else at her age. Although her parents were from America, she lived in Brazil for most of her life. When she was made aware that she was perhaps a bit more advanced then a normal human, she began to research the possibility of her being one of the “superheroes” that were starting to populate the Solar System. The older she grew, the more she began to believe that she was one of a higher-race of more evolved humans. She soon left Brazil at the age of 18 to travel to the University of Mercury, where she excelled and started to experiment on herself and fellow students to try and isolate what was termed as the “Overdweller Gene.” In consequence, however, one of the experiments backfired, leaving her with the ability to “talk” to cats. She became even more cat-like herself, with more pointed ears, and a sharper concept of the world. She also became stronger and faster, excelling at all sports at her university. Graduating two years early, she moved to Jupiter in an effort to become part of Parliament. Instead, she found a young woman with a strange notion of joining together more of their kind. After much negotiations, Amazon half-heartedly agreed, as long as she became second in command.

C.S.
Real Name – Angelique Norse
Age – 21
Hair – Brown
Eyes – Brown
Skin – Tanned Caucasion
Powers – Inability to feel pain, control over seismic activity, resulting in low-level ground bursts.
Past – Sister to Moonlight. Born and raised on the slum planet Neptune, C.S. and Moonlight lived a hard life of starvation and homelessness. At the age of 15, C.S.’s family was caught in a riot, and all sent to live on the prison planet of Pluto. Life became even harder. C.S.’s powers did not manifest themselves until she was almost 18, where a knife fight lost her her eye and nearly her little sister. When her seismic powers flared, she leveled three blocks of A Quadrant and killed four people. It was then she knew she had to escape with Moonlight, even if it ment leaving her parents behind. The desicition to escape became an even easier one when vengeful members of Prison gangs murdered her parents. She did everything possible to leave, including breaking into a guard level and getting control of a computer. She sent out a single cry for help, answered by a hacker with the handle of “Catlady.” Plans were e-mailed and downloaded, and her and her sister escaped shortly after with the help of Amazon and Natore.

Moonlight
Real Name – Monique Norse
Age - 15
Hair Color – Silver(Dyed, naturally Brown)
Eye Color – Brown
Nationality – Tanned Caucasion
Powers – Currently only able to immite high-level light from her hands. Has the potential to control the spectrum and concentration of light, from ultra-violet to lazer beams.
Past – See C.S. Past (Yes, I’m LAZY)
Costume – Black leather jacket, jeans, t-shirt and sunglasses.

Butterfly
Real Name – Lam Li
Age 14
Hair Color – Black
Eye Color – Black
Skin Color – Pale Asian (Korean)
Powers – Psychic Abilities (low-level, can only read thoughts and emotions, not project.) High martial art skill.
Past – Butterfly was born in New Korea, and raised in a Chinese monastery as a servant to a high-class villager who lived a short distance from the monastery. She became aware of her powers at the age of 10, where she “overheard” a plot to overrun the monastery in attempt to gain control over the land on which it resided. She approached the head of the monastery with caution, but soon was a key role in protecting the monastery. In return the head monk took her under his wing and taught her marital arts, and how to hone her new-found ability to read minds. When her guardian was approached by the group of four women who were interested in teaching her further, she was at first scared, but soon felt that they were to trust. She went willingly with them, to travel to the stars, although the language barrier was a bit of an issue.
Costume – Ninja-like gear with a cape, and a mask shaped like a butterfly. Carries a Chinese sword.

Dreamcatcher
Real Name – Dreamcatcher
Age – 24
Hair – Black
Eyes – Brown
Skin Color – Dark Native American
Powers- Ability to roam into other people’s dreams and change the outcomes and situations. Also can influence a person’s subconscious to give them false gut-feelings and base reactions. At a higher-level, can influence the mind enough to change the process of the body, even shutting off involuntary reactions, such as heart-beat and breathing.
Past- Born as a half-breed of the now-growing Navaho, Dreamcatcher was a trouble-maker from the beginning. Never liking to pay attention to her lessons, and always finding that breaking things and hurting animals was always more fun then her lessons. She always seemed to live in a dream world, and found real life was too constricting. She ran away from home when she was 15 and stowed away on a shuttle bound for Jupiter. She took quickly to the streets, even gaining her own “family” of hooligans, causing trouble and the like. She survived on luck and pick-pocketing alone, becoming addicted to the Hone drug, which allowed her to stay in a dream-like state for days, letting her gain more access to her powers. A heavy smoker and drinker, she didn’t seem to give half a damn about her life until she found a red-haired prostitute beaten half-to death and raped in an alleyway. Where normally she would have left the woman behind, she felt something twitch and took care of the prostitute, who called herself Ginger. Ginger soon woke and her and Dreamcatcher lived together for a short while, before their area was attacked by a Superhuman terrorist group. Instead of running, as the two women would have done before, they decided to stay and fight where they found that the current group of “FemDef” had become their backup. At first hesitant when the leader asked them to join, they soon jumped at the chance at being able to live in a mansion.

Ginger
Real Name - Ginger Falstick
Age – 30
Hair – Red/Orange/Blonde (changes)
Eyes – Green
Skin – Freckled Caucasion
Powers – Seduction and heavy pheromone output. Ability to read and somewhat control male minds.
Past – Ginger never had it easy. Born in the slums of Jupiter’s main colony to an Alcholic mother and a crack-head father, she couldn’t even understand why she made it past childhood. She ran away very young only to be drawn into the dark world of prostitution, where she was sold to the highest bidder, from one pimp to another. Her powers were always active, but she never realized the true potential until she was nearly 25, and actually kept herself from being beaten by her current pimp. She used her powers to her advantage, but was caught aware by a gang of street thugs one night and left for dead in an alleyway. She was found by Dreamcatcher, and nursed back to health. (see Dreamcatcher past for recruitment)

I think we could come up with an official Pavvie CoH/V server. I think we should go with Guardian, since a few of us already have characters there.

What does everyone else think? Either that or Virtue...where most of my characters are.
