    I am an equal oppertunity kind of guy, don't think I left PS3 out. But I am not going to show 360 any love because it is already out.

    This is the PS3 topic to discuss all that is PS3. I enjoy making these topics alot.

    To start off the topic, let's watch a video... YOU HAVE TO CLICK OF THE CREEPY GUYS TO DO IT THOUGH!

    My sound isn't on so if the music sucks just turn it off.

    Sony is not on my good side right now, but you have to admit those graphics are pretty nice.

    Who knows, I think PS3 will be essiantial to most poeple in the future. But I also think it might fumble if whole HD hoopla turns out to be not so popular. (HD DVD, BLU Ray, yada) 2 or 3 years from now, I see it doing pretty well.

      ...Holy crap. Some of those clips literally made my jaw drop. That red-haired guy was amazing.

      Of course, I haven't really played any video games since the standard X-Box, so maybe these are comaprable to the 360.

          Eh, PS3 is just too pricey at the moment. I also have little faith in Sony, they've been fumbling and making so many bully moves I'm genuinely afraid of buying their product.

              Their problem is... there are many many many others that share your opinion. So...it should matter.

                  According to the PlayStation 3's included Safety and Support manual, the system will accept any 2.5" Serial ATA hard disc drive, and not only officially licensed Sony products. This opens up the possibility of installing a much larger drive than what the system comes with. The manual does note that "Proper operation is not guaranteed for all models" of hard drives, but obviously this is Sony's "just in case" small print.
                  So there's some good news about PS3. That counts as a bit of good news, right?

                    I cant take that "tribute video" seriously when it starts out with "in game" footage that is confirmed to be fake.

                        it was also not real time, not done on final PS3 hardware, but is expected to be indicative of what the final game will look like. It was done at about 3fps i think it was, and then sped up for the E3 presentation.
                        ... thus "fake". remember when EA gave out the same "graphics target" bit with their footage of what Madden would look like on the 360? and then when the actual game came out, it looked absolutely nothing like their promotional video? Until something is being run on final hardware, in real time, and at full speed, it means nothing.

                        And really, there are a lot better showcases of the PS3's power than the stuff in that video.

                          Well yeah.... not your exact opinion, but a general dislike in the price and games.

                            I just had a showcase before (with the 2 creepy guys) but I decided to just find a random video and put it there instead. It was more of somthing to get the topic rolling unlike my FF discussion thread (called "retarded" among other names)
