Meh. I'm no wizard or anything, but I had just the last two songs on Expert to beat on GH1. I started on hard on GH2 'cause I didn't know a few of the songs, and I kept playing multiplayer with my wife, so I'm only 27 songs in.

I like the way hammer-ons and pull-offs feel more natural. The set list is great, I like the fact that they added some extra solos and stuff. Having a good time all in all. My Wireless Flying V didn't work though. The buttons are all scrambled. There's also an unofficial site to suggest up to 50 songs for GH3 here:

Right now I'm about halfway through the list on expert. This game is hard as hell on expert...I guess that's why it's called expert.

Do they have a 'training mode' yet, where you can slow down the track and play specific parts, like DDR? I needed that.

Ive beaten every song except jordan on expert becase it is hard and buckethead is good at guitar!!!!!!!!!!

Buckethead freakin' rocks.

Smurtle, as a matter of fact they DO have practice mode! It's even readily available right after you fail a song. You can even slow it down to slow, slower, or slowest. Quite nice.

I own GH1, I didn't enjoy it though. It was really a Hand to Eye coordination thing than anything to make me think.

All I got left is Jordan, but I've only tried it once.

Right now I'm just kind of casually playing when I'm in need of some quick fun, just like I did with 1. I never really get into the scoring or starring. Though I will once I get some free weekends.

I got it for my birthday and I love it. I don't play it all too often. I've only cleared Easy and Medium mode. I guess I suck, I only get four stars on Freebird in Medium mode. my favorite songs to play are Surrender, Woman, Message In A Bottle, Thunderhorse, Freebird, the New Black, and Trogdor. hooray!
