I'm sorry half of those games were SO over rated it is pathetic, OOT and SM64 being the worst offenders. Banjo was nothing but a gather fest like DK64. The Rare games were over rated, Doom64...well, it was Doom (i know everyone hails doom as the real beginning of FPS, but it just wasnt fun). Almost every single fighter ever released for the system sucked. Rogue Squadron, SotE, OB64, Pokemon Stadium 1&2 and a couple of others were the only ones really worth owning. Most of the games in your list were good, but i'm sorry, some people herald some of those N64 games as the 2nd coming of christ, yet they paid $70 to $80 for them, but now complain about $60 360 and PS3 games.
Edit: Feel free to flame me, i was a very big nintendo fan, but they really shot themselves in the foot with the N64.
I don't think they were the greatest games ever, but I think they made the system worth owning. And the only game I paid more than $50 for was Starfox when it came with the rumble pack.
The N64 had awful graphics and a worse controller. Was a game ever released that made the far-left prong (the D-pad part) mandatory?? And those C-buttons?! Remember Turok? What a piece of ****.
Blast Corps - Boring. Banjo Kazooie - Ultra boring. Mario Kart - Fun at first then boring. Plus, nauseating graphics. Super Mario 64 - Superlative. Such TIGHT control. The Legend of Zelda OoT - Magnificent. But not a big fan of the tinny music or the yucky character designs. The Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask - Seemed cool but that save system was a crock of ****. Never finished it. Mario Party 2 - Mario Party was good until the fights broke out in real life. And the BLISTERS. And control stick dust. Perfect Dark - Fantastic weapons but god, those GRAPHICS. The 4MB expansion thing was such a load. And Elvis?! **** that. Goldeneye - Awesome but I can't play multiplayer again without blindly shooting. Fun options though like mines and rockets, etc. Starfox 64 - Cool evolution of the SNES game but the plot, graphics and MUSIC especially were a big step back. Paper Mario - Never played it. Super Smash Brothers - Marvelous. Turok: Dinosaur Hunter - Just awful. C-buttons to move? FOG?! Are you joking? Harvest Moon 64 - Never played, never interested. Conker's Bad Fur Day - Played it for a few minutes, didn't really compel me, terrible graphics. Ogre Battle 64 - 2D sprites!! Looked cool but never played it. Flying Dragon (the most underrated fighter of all time) - Never even heard of it. Doom 64 - It's Doom so it must be okay. Waverace - I remember it being fun and I remember the water physics being cool. But we sold it anyway. =\ Extreme-G - Never played... F-Zero X - Ditto, don't care... Legend of the Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon - Had it but sold it. Dunno why, never played. Goemon's Great Adventure - There were two Goemon games? Huh. Tetrisphere - Never plaaayyyed. Jet Force Gemini - Horrendous artstyle, generic shooter. Blah. Space Station Silicon Valley - Never played. Wetrix (underrated as hell) - Ditto. Killer Instinct Gold - Sold it, didn't leave much of an impression. Castlevania: Legacy of Darkness - Never played, the others were awful enough. Fighter's Destiny - Never heard of it. Mace: The Dark Age - Same. Hexen 64 - Rented this a few times, have no idea why. Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire - Great presentation, decent story even if it did star DASH RENDAR but cripes, why were the controls so SLIPPERY? It was like Dash was on rollerskates the whole time. Mischief Makers - Played it a long time ago but got annoyed by that carnival stage or whatever the heck it was. Nightmare Creatures - Never played... Pokemon Snap - Now this. This is an awesome game. Rogue Squadron - Don't really remember it as well as Rogue Leader. What was the 2nd Gamecube game called?
Let's add: Resident Evil 2 - Very impressive port. Probably the best version of the game. Can anyone coroborate? Bomberman 64 - I thought this was a fun take.
Conker had bad graphics? That game had dynamic shadows, fully animated faces, and fur shading...
I love the Banjo games. I guess I like collecting stuff BECAUSE THAT'S ALL THEY ARE AM I RITE? Anyway, I would be psyched about Banjo three on the 360 but then I played Perfict Dark Zero.
If I had to nominate one game that would be N64's best it would have to be Paper Mario. Talk about a game that transends it's system. I think I like it ever more than Thousand Year Door. Mario64 and OoT were important and influentional and all but Paper Mario stands as the true masterpiece of the system.
Top Gear Rally, while lacking in cars and tracks, still kicked major ass. I LOVED being able to paint every last detail of your car. Wish you could do that on Gran Turismo. I made some very disturbing art and slapped it on my cars, with hilarious results. My demented 13 year old brain at the time made some of the most offensive car paintjobs of all time, one with a confederate flag background(ala General Lee from Dukes of Hazard) and an in-progress lynching with a crowd gathered around. It was hilarious racing that around the game's tracks, and playing it against friends. I'm not racist and in fact despise racism and racist acts, but many considered me a demented little child and I found that design very funny at the time. I was 13 when I made it, after all.
Other designs included:
-a giant flaming skull seething with maggots, decaying/ingrown hairs, and worms
-flat black paintjob with red anarchy sign
-making a car look like a giant penis
-camoflauge and sheetmetal armor, with mounted guns drawn on it. Basically, look like it came from "The Roadwarrior"
I had tens of hours of fun making art for my cars in Top Gear Rally. Wish I had a copy of it. Still have the saves on my memory pack though.

The Banjo games are excellent. Complete and utter Mario 64 ripoffs, but refined and expanded. I don't see how anyone could possibly malign them and then praise Mario 64.
Pandable, I'm attracted to you now. That's EXACTLY the list I would've made for great N64 games. The N64 was the only system after the SNES that gave me almost a decade of fun.
I declare us the Defenders of the N64. Henceforth, we are Paladins of a dying order!
I'd also like to go on record that Flying Dragon may very well be the best fighter OF ALL TIME, and it's for the N64 - AND NOONE HAS HEARD OF IT.
It has two modes - a normal 3D tekken ish fighting mode, and a chibi rpg/fighter hybrid mode. In the chibi mode, you get items, money, exp, etc, and can customize your character, and evolve your items, and.. dude, it's really unique.
You all are missing out if you haven't played flying dragon.
edit:
Magus, I agree that the N64 RE2 is the best RE2, but I didn't wanna put it on there since it was multiplatform.
Also, Bomberman 64 ROCKS - I'd forgotten about that.
I've played Flying Dragon. Rented it a few times, very fun fighter.
And Magus, AWFUL graphics? Are you trying to compare it to today's standards and say it's bad? Cause back when it came out the graphics were pretty decent. They didn't have the BEST graphics, but they were pretty good for the time. Hell, Final Fantasy VII had pretty crappy 3D graphics too, and that came out in 1997.
AWESOME (to me):
Mischief Makers
Blast Corps
Awesome (in general):
Super Mario 64
Mario Kart
The Legend of Zelda OoT
Bomberman 64
Goldeneye
Starfox 64
Super Smash Brothers
Waverace
Banjo Kazooie
Great:
The Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask
Mario Party 1 & 2
Pokemon Snap
Paper Mario
F-Zero X
Extreme-G
Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire
Good (sort of):
Perfect Dark (Didn't live up to Goldeneye)
Conker's Bad Fur Day (Platformer + Foul Language = Platformer...)
Killer Instinct Gold (So-so fighter)
Flying Dragon (Underrrated, but not really THAT great of a game)
Doom 64 (It's Doom...)
